Dear Fellow Foosers,
Thank you for your participation in the Mid-Atlantic Foosball Holiday Tournament, sponsored by I Love Produce!
It is Wednesday, and the registrations are now closed. Notwithstanding, we have nearly 50 registrants! As of this morning we have 35 players for Singles, 21 teams for Doubles and 19 teams signed up for the DYP.
Doors open at 11:00 am for warming up at the BELLEFONTE BREWING CO. 1851 MARSH RD. WILMINGTON, DE (note: there are 2 Bellefonte Breweries in Delaware. Make sure you come to the one on Marsh Road.).
The restaurant next door, 322bbq, is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, as well as there is a Starbucks and an Acme Supermarket less than ½ mile away. Food truck is coming to the Brewery from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Food and drink purchases are up to the individual participants.
I Love Produce will provide Pennsylvania grown apples and is sponsoring the prizes, money and medals for the events as listed below.
The events will be as follows:
Singles 12:00 Noon (Open and New Player Singles to run concurrently, players must pick one or the other):
New Player Singles: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Open Singles: $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd and $25 for 3rd place
Doubles at 4:00 p.m. (Open and New Player Doubles to run concurrently, players must pick one or the other):
New Player Doubles: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Open Doubles: $300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd and $150 for 3rd place
DYP at 7:30 p.m. and hope to be finished near midnight. $10 entry fee, 100% payout as follows:
50% for 1st place, 30% for 2nd place, 20% for 3rd place
Note: Doubles Partners Split purses.
Note: New Players are players that are entry level, not experienced tournament players.
Format: Doubles elimination - 2/3 winners. Race to 7 in losers - No overtime.
Match play begins within 5 minutes of time called. * Format subject to change based on time and attendance.
Events will be run on House of Tournaments software. Live Streaming of some events TBD.
