This is now the time and era of the start of the next generation of players to now hit the colo scene. Our second generation started around 95 when Terry Moore introduced the world to the Rollover.
And this is the set option used by the 3rd generation players in general 90+%...including more than half of the 1st generation old school players use it too, and not many old school players dont use it what so ever,
Garrett
Mark R
Myself including
etc, etc, but the added difference now is that the form of freestyle has been slowly creeping in the mix, for one year shy of two decades, since ive been in the second generation scene on a solid basics since the turn of the century, this year ending will be 20 years in total as the player named jedi, in the name of freestyle..

One time Thunder mentioned this and so true it is, " dont forget your roots", and this applies to every single player that takes the game to the next level, past, present or future all through to the 4th and 5th generation 25-50 years from now.

And that takes us to the next reality, how long will the game survive in the competitive standpoint down the line from now, when all old school players are gone to the dust.
Sooo with this said, second and third generation players will battle it out, either it will be classic, tour cookie cutter, or freestyle, that a players game can fall into, not to mention being able to apply any two or all three methods of style that could define a player, like if I was ever to pick up the setting of a rollover,HOLY GOD FORBID, and shot my own styled snake shots, then that would be known as a hybrid style.

Now days virtually every new player you run across over the table is setting up a rollover set, not for originality, but for the sake that everyone else and their brother sister and mother uses it, not by uniqueness, but by the mainstream of others.
