Just in case anyone still reads this board...and isn’t on Facebook...
I’ve been rehearsing with a band for the past few months, and we’re preparing to play our first gig...this Friday the 27th, at Maddie’s Biergarten in downtown Castle Rock. It goes from 8:30 to 10:30, and we generally play rock tunes from the early 70s to early 90s. If you’re my age, you’ll recognize most of the songs, but these aren’t the same songs you hear in your average dive bar. I’ll be singing, joking, and trying to get the audience involved a bit...the usual Nick. I hope to see you there (unless I don’t like you).

Another show scheduled for 11/8 at the Cork and Keg in castle rock. So I will have to skip amateur singles at Colorado state

Amateur singles is at 4PM, plenty of time for you to 2-n-q and make the gig. You could even stop by home, have dinner, and shower. You should have an hour’s voice warm up time too!

The next gig for my band will be January 10th at the Cork and Keg in Castle Rock! We’re learning several more great songs to update the list. You were excused from our last performance because of State, but I’m hoping to see several of you in attendance this time, especially those of you in the Springs, Castle Rock, and south metro!

The funny thing about some of those shuffle steps, along with table soccer and major martial arts schooling, I did alot of ballet, tap, and jass dancing through out the 70s untill the Army as some of you know, but the dance instructor and my drill sergeant was using those steps then, now its being recognized 50 years later, lol
The shuffle steps are why I have fast solid foot work in everything I do thats physical, table soccer for sure.
Been doing those steps all my days.. I guess thats why this old looking man is still a 61 year old surprise factor. I can still whip the colored belts on the mat.
61 and im still shuffling around everywhere I go
