Correction pertaining to 1-23-14 America's Singles results:

Daniel, The Lion Wisperer
Ross, Clothing Department
Jedi, Ruler of the North
Roger, The Rocket

This is how I recall the final count down for singles.

Once Juan and I were 2NQ, I didnt pay much attention to any doubles matches.

So who is right? No biggie but it affects the pts of 3 players, that I'm trying to keep.

Well Boogie..I finely took you down, match point no doubt, and I know it wasnt pretty and all, but really, it came down to who had the stronger defense at the moment. I think I did really good after you took the first game.. Like I didn't give up now did I?

Hey, you notice I didn't score on myself!

And I was blocking your passes alittle more. In fact I was blocking your pull enough to turn the offensive tide to my advantage, just to keep up with you.

And come on Boo, after 5 days no Props or good job jedi for playing tough and hanging In there with all you had... like,"do you have any idea what it took for me to sit on the euro pull for more than 10 seconds when I was scoring It on you... I mean really, just keeping it on my three for 6 seconds is a bitch...
WOW, after thinking about it, I played alittle jedi style and alittle standard set up at the good moments...I say this because you have a really tough all around defense that reads where im going. So I had to think of a spot to shoot but do something else, just to keep you off me. Anyway, bottom line, defense was the key to taking you down. Because I have high hopes of scoring against you normally, I just have to hopefully keep your shit OUT!

Hmmmmmmm, somebody seems to be having memory issues. I wonder what else could be remembered incorrectly.....hmmmmm.....

The guy is delusional and a compulsive liar. Of course Sheri is right. He loses credibility every time he posts something and then his lies come to surface.

Good lord, you actually went there? You actually polished that turd?

12 slops- that's what you got. There were 4 people watching, sitting RIGHT in front of the table. My count started when you got 3 in the first game. And defense? Are you kidding me?...your kidding me, right? I hit 13 moving straights on you- you should have seen the look on tommy, Sheri, and teezys face when I hit the 10th one. And those 12 shots that slopped in with 4 wheel drive, jumping up in the air, bouncing off the lights- let me tell you something simple that you are missing- that means I KNEW where you were going each one of those times. Which means, I was missing my transitional "block millers slop" game- which allows me to 10-1 or 10-2 you.

You already lie all the time, but after you won- WHEN MY OPEN SHOT DID A HOME RUN INTO MY GOAL- you knew that match stunk SO badly that you looked like a dog that ate out of the garbage- you actually managed to look embarrassed in winning. Fast forward one week, and you are talking prophecies and "awesome defense". The way you spun it, its like we were going shot for shot, when really it was like "good lord miller, really? Another slop?" Then- I pass, and score a moving straight. Then "wow, another one- I just blocked this ball from slopping in three times, but you managed to Ariel it on you fourth FLAIL... Then, I would pass and score another moving straight.

And if you actually BELIEVE in your own bullshit, and think that my laziness in letting in 12 slop shots in means you can beat me now- then let's FUCKING BET right now, right here. Walter- put your fucking money where your mouth is and side bet me. I want a board bet too- loser doesn't post here EVER again. Forever. I can put your ass off this board for good, and trust me- I would be heroic to a dozen people who can't stand reading your shit anymore.

Can't believe you spun that shit into a competitive match after you slunk away from the table raising up your shoulders like "sorry man, the ball rolls that way sometimes..."

Next time, during our bet- I will show you (like I always do) that I know EXACTLY where the fuck you are going, but this time I will block the 4 wheel drives and the Ariel's. Back yourself up, oracle- after all of the times I destroyed you and stayed quiet on the table, just chalking points and glancing to the side to see someone shake their head with a smile- I am ready to embarrass you now.

When I am done- I will put on a professor cap, pull out a pointer stick, and stand at the table explaining loudly, step by step, each play that transpired, and why it seemed as though I played the match like I watched what you were going to do already. And then you will hand me hundreds of dollars, and disappear from the board forever.

All of the above is the reality.

Make sense now?

Besides the Jedi and me it sounds like the whole board is burnt sour grapes over the "NEVER FACTOR" being gone.

They aren't for the other guys as well. When I see some crybaby pusscake losing a game and crying about the table, I always think something along the lines of this-

Armageddon begins. The shit is hitting the fan. Meteors are blowing shit up, and half the planets population is about to eat shit. An immediate case study begins on foosball players around the globe. After the dust settles, the article is released for all to read. It followed 3 different types of foosers going through the Armageddon. Here's what it read...

There were 3 different types of players, described below...

1. Foosball players that play on different tables, tables that have a defect, etc- they battle on the table and still win. These players will be referred to as the Lions. King of the jungle, they whip your ass then hug you to make you feel ok with the defeat.

2. Foosball players that accept different tables or playing conditions, battle their asses off without complaint, sometimes losing as an effect of the different table conditions...these are the leopards. They go into battle every time, with expectations to win, and become way better players in a shorter timeline.

3. Foosball players that lose a wall pass on a table, and throw themselves onto the floor into fetal position, sucking their thumb while crying out "the bumpers are too new!!!!" These players are the pussycats, or pussys. 2nq'ing even on perfect tornado tables then blaming it on the color of the carpet.

To be continued...

The study showed that the Lion players highjacked cars, broke into gun racks and supplies stores, drove 100mph on the freeway to reach a small airfield where they HotWired planes and flew their families to a safe location. Survival rate- 100%.

The Leopards made it almost to the end of this same trek, some being successful, others succumbed to a last second crater opening in the earth as they were hotwiring the plane.

The pussycats? Half of them slipped on a banana peel in the driveway, twisting their ankles and crying on the pavement as they burned to death. The other half thought the meteors were too big on the news and didn't even step out of the front door, claiming "the conditions weren't perfect for an escape from doom".

The end.

Sincerely,

Boogie

Don't try to pit me against my bro- Jim might be picky about what table he plays on, but- he is a constant student of the technical aspect of the game of foosball- and for a non pro player- it is refreshing to see someone that understands the inner workings of the chess match that goes on in high level play, and constantly thinks of ways to be smart on the table. It is ten times harder to score on Jim's defense (for me) because he pays attention to detail and adjusts accordingly when playing different people that have specific tendencies or nuances. I applaud his dedication to being a smart player as opposed to whacking away at the ball on every rod and hoping to generate enough force to get the ball in the goal somehow. Where miller will give me 10 moving straights in a row, Jim has a completely random d, with baits, etc...

So again, despite his Preference on type of table or quality, it goes together with his desire to be a smart and technical player- not someone that's like "which way is the goal, I need to know which direction to swing these rods as hard as I can" like miller.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I will applaud miller for staying true to his word and posting on his thread only. It helps us iron out these small firefights way quicker without some 3 page post pertaining to road 34 results from 10 years ago.

By the way- THIS.

if you lost kingseat, you take 3rd no matter what. If mark stayed and lost, he would have still took third. Just because he left doesn't mean that miller just wipes his name from the singles list all together, moving his own name up a spot. This is the kind of "spin doctoring" shit I can't stand. Its like his post about our match, where he claims he "held it on the 3 row for over ten seconds, while scoring his euro on me", he didn't score a 10+ second euro on me- he scored a few 2 second euros that became ariels after hitting my men and having 4 wheel drive hack power. The only time he ever held it on a rod for ten seconds in his life is when someone on the other side of the table was in the bathroom taking a shit.

Mark plays for kingseat, loses, then leaves. Next thing you know, according to miller, mark doesn't exist and miller took third. The spin doctor in effect.

Another spin doctor moment- "yeah that was tough playing chad loessburg in the finals at the bit...it WENT DOWN TO THE LAST BALL"

Next thing you know, chad posts- "if you mean the ball I scored to 5-3 you in the second game of the first set, then yeah, I guess that was technically the LAST ball of the game..."

Lmao, its like someone pulling the curtains back weekly on all the spin doctoring.

I'm starting to wonder what really went down back in the day up north...oh wait, I still don't give a fuck about it. Never did.

Just pointing out again that it's the skill level and not any of the conditions or equipment. To me there isn't nothing weaker then using excuses like table, cheating or slop < isn't this also part of understanding the game at the top level? I think so.
