18 teams

1 - Roger/BJ
2 - Lyons/Ditto
3 - X/Josh
4 - Boogie/Cheez

Great turnout for the inaugural night! A few complaints about the flooring, but honestly...I didn't see any impact to my game, or any of my opponents. High level foos trumps any table issues. All the best teams were still at the top.

Super awesome food - they smoke their wings and pork...make their own BBQ sauce..., and it was bad ass.

Thanks everyone.

Food wasn't bad. Pork was tasty but just a bit dry. Gonna try the wings next week.
J(G)illian was awesome and bad ass!
The floors are terrible, let's not sugar coat it. Way too wobbly with no real fix available so we'll all have to adjust. Those 5 Rumplemints shots you had X prolly countered the floor wobble perfectly, plus Josh's golden horseshoe in our match. We definitley got some horseshoe payback in some of our other matches. Lol! Great playing by both of you last night.

Wings and Pork were awesome!

Yes, floors are beyond shitty for foos tables - I'm just saying they did not impact my game. I wasn't dropping passes. It does make distinguishing resets more difficult.

Thanks to the few people who stepped up to ref the jars and resets!

And the new waitress is ba - I think 5 or 6 foosers were ready to propose to her last night.

Seriously, the waitress is really good. I hope somebody (like me) doesn't piss her off. The issue with the floors was very noticeable before the tourney, but I didn't notice any impact during the seven games I played. Disclosure: I didn't have to play on table 4.

I've gotta give props out to EA. 5/6 for a goalie/goalie team. Great job manning the forward spot bro!i had a blast pitting for you.

Double props to Dana for for getting the Nick monkey off her back! Way to set that order straight. Great job Tommie! My evening ended great being sandwiched in a double hug with Cassi and Dana! Fantastic!

I may have been one who proposed to Jillian and Lynn may have found out. I'll be the guy next week breathing like Darth Vader and eating my blended pulled pork and chicken wings through a straw. Bad move. Doh. Lol!

How did you guys get 5/6th? lol Some bracket love right there.

Tim just told me I should have screwed up the nuts on the table legs to keep things from wobbling - whoops! lol

hopefully that was the issue?

Yeah we definitely had some early bracket love. Beat Eul/Gavin, David/Arthur, lost to you guys, beat Knapton/Kristin, Tommie/Dana, lost to Boogie/Cheezy.

I asked Tim if you guys had to take off the legs when moving the tables but he said you didn't. I know Aaron Harris had a wobbly table because he put the washers between the legs and top instead of under the nuts. (No gay). So maybe be good things to double check before Friday.
However, there were a couple of times Ditto hit some nasty hard pull kicks on table one and we felt table 2 wobble so I think it's still the floor. Maybe the can shore it up with some cinder blocks if there is a crawl space underneath. It's definitely not on cement.

Any volunteers for crawling under the floor with cinder blocks in tow? Maybe Andy Dufresne from Shawshank? I'll cover your entry.

Damn, if I lived closer I'd give you some Adcock Concrete special love for shoring
up that floor, it's our specialty. It's probably an easy fix, talk to Cheesy.

It could be as simple as pouring some self leveling (SL-1) concrete probably an inch or so deep is all you need. That would tighten it up tremendously, no more wobblies.

Good luck with the new place!

I'm sure whatever the issue is we'll figure it out. I really appreciate you guys helping and being patient. I really believe this new venue is badass. The bonfire absolutely loves foosball players that is very hard to find in a bar.

The ✌nd to none Dominating team at B.Cs, they never made a 3peat as in prophecy i told, and of course no one else did ether as i mentioned before..but what a beautiful foundation of "Dominance" during the full time at B.C.s arena!
