My kid is interested in playing Junior doubles at Co State this year. He's been exposed to foos for the past 6 years, but he's definitely a beginner, and definitely only 10 years old. He's an energetic, competitive player, but the goal here is to have fun while getting some exposure to tournament foos. He prefers forward, but has no 5 bar passing to speak of. His 5 bar hacks are impressive though, and he loves to stuff an opponent's 2 bar. Maybe your kid wants to team up with him. Edited by user Tuesday, August 25, 2015 4:03:56 AM(UTC)

Junior events are not always what you think they are so make sure it is at Jack's level. Last year there was a match up between Stahl Jr and Juan Jr for the title in singles because it was a World Cup qualifier. I'm pretty sure you don't expect Jack to have a good time playing at that level.

Okay, I just found out the max age is 17. Maybe I was thinking it was 14. I guess Jack can sit this one out and play upstairs or something. Thanks guys.
