Knappy are you bitter because of 2 reasons why you ruined the turkey draw for me one year?
One you were a beginner, and Two the only thing you knew how to shoot was a roller.

Get back on your meds boy!

I was already starting to whoop peeps with a lane/wall and hitting the roller pretty good. But since you were the more experienced player, I was happy to let you play front as you requested. Worst fucking push-kick I've ever fucking seen too! It was bad, and you should feel bad.

LMAO at your selective memory.

BackToBeingFuckingHostileRK

lol. 1 more story to tell these beginners over some beers about.

Knapton, you've been playing too long in BreckenGup, and it's clouding your vision.

Crap! Everyone knew I was the phony Jedi except me.

I first met City at the BreakRoom playing in a DYP.

DYP's are the only gamble but CHAMP snapped off a 1st with Nick and also took a 1st with Kermit the beginner at Pinky's with 3 other PM"a in the house.

The average age of foosers at State was right at the 32-35 decline age in Pro sports. Unless you look forward to seeing State played by foosers my age, you need DYP's and beginners. Work on your game so you can carry them like CHAMP, then pat them on the back and say THANKS FOR COMING.

That's the most intelligent thing Sweater has ever said.

I dunno, Nick just confessed to liking Journey on FB. You officially lost your musical man card Nicky. City don't make me give you another drum solo next to your melon.

Next thing you know Nick will be sporting some Jordache Jeans to go w/ that stache and singing his highest falsetto notes.

GTFO, I would prefer to draw a rook that is trying to battle his ass off then a "Pro" with a bad attitude.

You should have seen how bad my partner was in the draw at CO state... We rumbled and beat some pretty fucking nasty teams and ended up taking fourth.

He was so excited about the entire event that he must have thanked me 100 times during the weekend. He was so pumped that he was pulling me aside every chance he got to ask me tips on other stuff to do.

If I drew City, we would have gone out in 2.

Beginners in draws are the most fun to watch because you get to see the true meaning of watching a pro-am in a lot of cases.

How fun would it be to watch Daniel and scrub play Boogie and scrub and have to switch constantly.

The end.

Fooser egos have gone wild today.

Sweater is right on a lot of points. DYP has and always will be a gamble.

I think City is joking around with the begginers kill DYP comment. However, some of the others seem serious about it. If so, then you should be ashamed. Even people that have never played should be encouraged to play. A true pro knows how to teach and encourage a beginner partner. A want to be pro would treat their partner like their a dirty old dog, stomp their foot, and most likely discourage them from playing ever again. Now, that's the truth!!

This sounds like the attitude of a pro. I strongly approve of this post. Even when Moose got stuck with me in Dean's Superdubs...he didn't complain (out loud). He told me what to do, made some good switches, and most of all (I think), he focused harder on doing his job, valuing every possession. And we won those freakin' jackets.

Now, that being said...some people go to the Turkey Draw purely for the money. Good luck!

Just confessed? Just confessed? Bro, you're clearly in another time zone!!! Everyone knows I like Journey, and I belt it out any chance I get. And it ain't falsetto, mofo...unless Tommie kicks me in the nuts first. By the way, I also like John Denver, Little River Band and Dan Fogelberg. I get occasional massages, have 2 cats, and like walks on the beach. But let me make this perfectly clear: I'VE NEVER KISSED A FREAKIN' DOLPHIN!

By the way, my Movember mustache is already better than Bud's (wasn't he Ross' partner in the Co State DYP?)...but I have a long way to go to match the badass stache of Austin.

Anybody with something this slow and gay on the internet should never be allowed to judge a push kick.

BTW I usually shoot my worst shot when I draw a beginner because my night is typically ruined.

The best part of playing with a beginner...

If you play like a donkey, and they actually carry the weight and get some wins, you get credit for playing awesome and backpacking a rook.

And if you play like a donkey and lose, everyone just assumes it was the rookies fault.

lol.

Ive wanted to hit this turkey draw for 3 years already! Damm why so much snow this week? Im seriously considering showing up and taking a newbie to the promise land. Dont get me wrong id love to draw ross or lueras but thats the beauty of a draw. You can draw a begineer or a pro/promaster. If somebody has an extra turkey leg for lawdawg id love to drop in and hurt some feelings. Lol

The turkey draws have been a staple of CO foos for years. One of the best tourneys every year. I have been missing it since the last one!

P.S. Why is it that I am trying to talk shit and everyone is being so nice?

In 97-98? Over 30 teams showed up at the regular Wed. night DYP, at the BreakRoom the night before Thanksgiving. Just showed up, no Turkey DYP.
