I stopped about 9 years ago when I got into foosball. Some days I feel like I should switch back to ping pong. When I started competitive table tennis in St. Louis, there was a former champ named George Hendry who was about 80 years old, beating opponents with his defensive chopping style. That’s how I would expect to beat you, though it’s tougher against those anti spin sand paddles.

Chapter 3
(The capture of the jediR.O.T.N.)

The Ruler of the North marched back to his North land
a day after he battled his first dent in the south
He was forced to contend with another foe
his wicked half brother from the south no doubt
Jedi's half brother the worst Jedi hater of all
there was no one that anyone could compare
The dark side of his half brother was just that evil
he was Jedi's lifetime fucking nightmare
He put a faults charge on Jedi's head
and was charged with a felony crime
Although the Jedi was innocent of this charge
he was facing 12 years of hard time
So the Jedi turned himself into the law
for he didn't need to be chased by the law gun
It didn't matter what the charge was going to be
the Jedi wasn't going to pack up and run
And needles to say after he turned himself in
he was hand bound and thrown in jail
Then after 78 days he was then released
and set free to continue his tale

The year 2010 is finally gone
the holidays left in sorrow that ending year
Losing his father that early July
put the Jedi in a world of tears
It was the hardest thing Jedi ever had to do
to lay his father down and his ashes he kept
And during the time of the fireball event
the Ruler of the North known as Jedi he wept
So the living say that life goes on
although Jedi's Mother is still alive
She lives in a old home and is cared for each day
lost her mind and in time she will die

Many thoughts went through Jedi's mind that year
as the year eleven was passing mid seasons
In that time Jedi's game took a turn for the worse
for the uncertainty of things were the reasons
So the Jedi layed his rods and the game down
as he was forced to take a very long break
It was time to stop training and to rethink his path
for his father and mother's name sake
For he always remembered what his parents had said
" What ever you do you always give it your all
it doesn't matter what it is
doesn't matter how big or how small
And they say it doesn't matter if you win or lose
but it's how you play the game
But foosball is the only game the Jedi knew
that that rule doesn't really apply quite the same
For the pros of the game it's more about how pretty you play
rather than playing the game to win
For if you scrap and creep the ball in their goal
then your a player pegged in shadow with Grimm
But this doesn't concern the Jedi at all
for how he scores the ball in the goal
He plays his same game and out battles his all
that's how his freestyle game travels and rolls
So time will tell where his game will lead him
as another year is just around the bend
It's close again for the state championships
that time of year with the foos family and friends

Chapter 3
( Jedi's 3rd prophecy and the calling of Civil War)

Now in this year of 2011
Jedi wasn't seen to much around
He didn't compete at Colorado State
players thought he was kidnapped and bound
He disappeared away from the scene
no one had an inkling of a clue
And the peanut gallery of the forum
had spread rumors that wasn't true
In the span of time was Americas bar and grill
A location set in south Aurora
from the north a long travel behind a wheel
This known arena was ran by T.S.K.
named by the names of who they are
They were players from long ago
and they took the game and raised the bar
Then T.S.K. announced the 1st Civil War event
that was set the next following year
A war against the North and the South
for players that are far and near
And this event was set to exploit the Jedi
for bantering on the board back and forth
So T.S.K. declared a battle on the tables
to settle the dispute of the South and the North

By the force at this time Jedi received a clear vision
just like an Angel messenger at his door
He saw players of the metro at his wayside table
now the Ruler of the North prepares for Civil War
Then the Jedi posted his prophecy
to give future warning of his win and take
And players laughed and mocked the Jedi
saying he was delusional a con and a fake
But one fact Jedi always knew
about his visions he preached that were of old
Is that the visions always did come true
exactly the way The Jedi had told

( A mile stone of December)

December had arrived as it did for many years
its a time of year for cheer and to be glad
Jedi was born a week before Christmas
now this time of year left him separate and sad
The times had struck him down
as we know life does through time
The world we live in is never easy
it's filled with sorrow hatered and crime
He realized his world had changed since the loss of his dear dad
he went to go be with his living mom
who didn't know who he was we may add
So he spent the days alone locked in his home
without the presents of father and mother
There was no one left to have holidays with
except his darkside vindictive brother
So Jedi stoodfast looking up at the full moon
he stood like a stone statue and did not bend
While thinking Jedi stands for Justice Eradicates Deadly Injustice
for this will stand for a means to an end

(The wisdom of an Oracle)

It's the beginning of a new year
for it is now twenty twelve
The year end holidays are a Christmas past
no more fake Santa and unseen elves
The first day was a Sunday
it marked the first day of the year
Jedi took a Sunday nap
and had a nightmare filled with fear
A loud unknown voice spoke out
a voice he could not see
It came from all around him
Jedi thought what or who can this be
The voice was deep and as like thunder
as light became brite about him all around
Jedi froze to this frightful voice
and didn't make a single sound
I give to you this power to have
the wisdom above the rest
I lay this within your mind
for what beats within your chest
And walk amung the state of players
as you stand with this given miracle
You are appointed as the head of the state
for you will be known as The Colorado Oracle
The Jedi layed there for a moment in time
for he didn't know what to think
This power that was just given to him
is like throwing in the kitchen sink
For Jedi knew what visions were
and how to preach the news
But he wasn't sure what this power was
it is something that is totally new
So week by week as Jedi trained
his hair turned lighter each day
and by the end of January that month
Jedi's hair had turned from light brown to gray

The first round of the event just takes a short time
half the players hit the ground
It all depends on how you fight
if you make it or your under a mound
For you must play smart when your fighting in the field
when you shoot and block to take cover
If you lose twice then your dead and out
place your balls in a box back home to mother
The players are ready the troops are lining up
the first round is on it's way
A horn is blowing and the battle begins
these first events will be one bloody day
Now the battles were many throughout the day
as players fell to the wayside table
So the winning side fighters that were all still standing
were the players that were ready set and able
This main battle event that was soon to unfold
was the main battle of this war
It involves the semi- pro expert class
and these players are fighters that play hardcore
For the players that come from this Colorado State
are the best fighters in this country around
And Jedi was in this main battle event
fighting for the North and his birth place home town

Now Jedi made plans for this battle to come
while he walked the tables and scouted around
He looked at the bracket to see who he would battle
and have that enemy buried in the ground
Then needless to say after the first volley
Jedi was standing among the rest
For players that were on the winners side
have to battle their game at their best
Remember all is fair in Love and War
and how you fight the game
But in war your forced to battle and fight
in wind hail heat snow and rain
Later in this Civil battle throughout that day
it was evident Jedi was not going to fall
It didn't matter if he got wounded
he would medicate his own wounds and beat them all
And history was written while the battle was ending
it came down to Jedi and a fighter from the south
The battle field was layed in losing body's blood and death
enough to make you sick and Ralph
And it came down to meatnut shot
as the two fighters were full of stitches
As Jedi defended and shot up the south post:
I can talk as much shit as I want
I'm the Civil War Champion
1st place "Bitches"!
