Okay, more info now. Dana was at the bar, paying for drinks. She set the wallet on the bar, got distracted for a moment, and then it was gone. Sounds like a crime of opportunity. That really blows.

You guys got 2 slops, I hit the wall on 2 wide open pullsides, inadvertantly blocked a nasty slingshot from Joey that you were nowhere near blocking, and then your hit and hope pushkick to win the game 1 comeback. If any one of those things go right for us... "who knows"...

One thing is for sure in regards to Dustin and I's conversation about the importance of the 2 bar. Both of us are right. I see so many wasted possessions with subpar 2 bars. If even 2 or 3 shots from the 2 bar a game go in, or feed the forward, the whole tide of the match could change. If you wanna be a forward/singles player, 2-5 is great. If you plan on playing goalie, a solid 2 bar is every bit as important as the other goalie duties (at the higher levels) i think.

no exaggeration - 2 slops, and the 2 bar from Joey was wide open. You see those as decent blocks, I see them as bad shooting mechanics because I know what the long hole should be. My point was every match is made up of tiny things that could change the out come of the match. What is an exaggeration is you crying every game about a recoil...it's foosball...people play aggresive...get used to it already. Brubaker doesn't recoil any harder than Dustin does on the roller. If it goes in, it's fine.

It was a good push kick, my bad on the bail - I didn't think you'd go for it. Maybe the hitch got me - great move if so. Of course Dustin said stick with it - you were getting clears, and that's what my zone gives the goalie. It's a free clear - the funnel D. Of course I'm used to playing with players (Baller) who will make you pay bad for giving the ball to the opposing 2 bar. It's a battle that usually wins for the other team. I didn't see all of your match vs Brubaker and Rick, but it seemed like they were doing the same thing, and Rick was coming out ahead on the 2 bars.

Joey was recoiling pretty hard lol. frankly, I'm surprised he could even execute his shot hitting the wall that hard. We all would have called a jar had it affected anything.

Congrats to Gavin for getting his first victory at BC's, He played a great goalie game, I think He made only one mistake that I can remember that he got stuffed on. Otherwise he was clearing, scoring, or just feeding my 3 bar.

By the way, Who wants to play next friday? I need a partner.
