I vote that you guys work on fleshing that idea out. Since I’m new, I like the idea of having the pressure of a macro team win in addition to the pressure of a standard tourney. I also think it would really speak to the Team captain’s knowledge of the game if they were able to construct a winning team. So break out the spreadsheets.

Hopefully there isn’t a shit ton of resistance. This format would need lots of players.

If I only showed up once ever year, and got Ryan Moore to be my partner, I'd prefer to keep it traditional too.

^These both made me laugh.
By the way, as predicted, I don't get to do any boasting or trash talk. Screw all of you!

that's because your all talk, AND NO SHOW!

superman always showed, BUT DIDN'T TALK MUCH!

You know what Dave, you and Scott can go fuck yourselves. Nick was there last night and he gives it his all no matter what! Even if his partner is struggling he tries to focus on what he can do in his own area to help out! Where were you? Oh that's right, your attitude can't get you another partner.

These two posts together are gold. May I ask when this was, and who you beat? I heard it was an "up and coming amateur team"...that super nick- that guy sure can block...

My trophy says 2014 TSK Civil War Amateur Doubles. What I remember is that we had to face Miller and BJ in the first round. We beat them, and Miller subsequently promised he would come back and get us in the finals. He was half right on that prediction. Good times. Dustin is a heckuva player.

Looks like I wore it for my rookie singles victory at State. Should've kept the damn thing on for doubles.

The most fascinating thing about Jedi mind tricks, is the manipulation of the next thing that leads to another..like an action creates a reactionary response..

Anytime I want to surface something, all I have to do is drop an influential seed in that direction.. And lo and behold..it becomes plastered on a page..lol....someone is always willing to say, "look there's this, and there's that" lookie see!

I was waiting for that Superman picture to pop up...that's what I was counting on...
-----------------we can use this later for exhibit (A)----------------

Jedi mind trick#2
now caution here, this could go over alot of heads, because its a very complicated mind trick. It takes days to set it up and a week or two for it to unfold.
one has to know how to read between the lines, and not what you read or think you see..

But first I must say here, that no one is going to get any sympathy from me..
For years, and still to this day, I've been doged, ridiculed, bantered, dissed, etc, etc..
I was told I was weak, that I would never have the skill to compete against the "Metro"
I've been called a bar hack, a sloppy shooter, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, well, get the point?
In retaliation, I forcefully single handedly made the Metro my "BITCH"

Now what happens here, is that there is a choice to be made, do I lay down like a dog, and allow everyone to be right, or do I stand up against the bullies of the peanut gallery, and make a stand on the table and win against the house..

Btw.little note to slice/ Spare me the Mother Teresa act, you don't play the role very well!
I have never heard you say.. Hey guys, Jedi gave all he got at state, so what he got 50 th place out of 1000, anyway he showed up...

Did it ever occur to anyone, that the reason I gave so much shit to EA, was to light a fire under his ass to wake him the fuck up....NO..... and maybe now he knows what the fuck I have to deal with...
I watched him play a match against Dustin, where EA had Dustin 4-0 in the third game, and Dustin made a crooked pass, and EA look up rolled his eyes didn't move on D, and Dustin scored, I was like "What" , all EA could say in translation to that was, "his pass didn't go like he meant it, so I'm checking out! Meanwhile here comes Dustin 1-2-3-4. now here comes the longest ball in the match..somehow by a miracle from the foos god, EA scores a pull from the 2 to win it, while at the same time,"CHECKING OUT...

the bottom line here, was that EA didn't even deserve that win.. I've never seen a player as to being so weak as to check out, and yet win the match, like the way he did.. Like I said"it doesn't get any weaker than that",
when it was time for EA to play me after Dustin, I gave him no mercy, and from here on out I never will, When he plays me single handedly, I'll chew him up and spit him out, and to the loser's side he goes.
