Order up 200 of these badboys, type "tournament director" under the line on the lower left.

1. Aww, did someones post not get noticed?

2. Have you read the thread? No one is scared of change- Tommy Chapman rocked a goalie delight with a $10 cover, and we were ALL down. No complaints. What we are dealing with here is turning Denvers last and only true bring into a ASTERISK tourney.

When winning this, an asterisk MUST be included, saying "the playing field was leveled using a handicap."

I DONT WANT to win at BC's on "ASTERISK" night..."um yeah...i won, but...um- i would have lost a couple of those matches if it wasnt for Scott Rodriguez' pre school program...

lol - it's not a pre school program - they are doing this format at the $1000 Rollerball buy in for Vegas this year.

It makes the better players play smart, and it gives the weaker teams more opportunities for offense.

This is not a democracy! It's an X-ocracy!

We're having this losing team takes the drop, and that's it! If you don't want to play that way, do not come!

Merely a reiteration of my reaction to your reaction.

I was under the impression you usually do well at this tournament. So you would not be getting the drop as much and your opponent would, thus creating more of a challenge for you. If you wanted easy tournaments you should come play in the guppy pond or something. From your post, you're clearly threatened by the fact that some guppy team might pull off an upset.

Lets be real though, if you're in a close game that is going back and forth than you won't actually notice any difference from the handicap.

You went to the extreme of saying that this will forever taint the legacy of Colorado's only BYP and longest running tournament, because the format got changed once. Drama Queen much? Closer matches, more pressure, nooooooo! I thought this was a one week change, but you're acting like the format will be changed forever!

You want to asterisk this week, but not the goalie delight?

Its not even your fucking tourney, I dont know if you are on your period or what the fuck is up with you, but you are going to affect bc's either way, and that sucks, because- like I said- its not even your tourney. For years, no matter if Robbie ran a streak, or me, or daniel- BALLER NEVER got all pussified and handicapped the shit. Never. He would have a bounty sometimes, and he would change the entry or have a fun format change- but this roll over and go belly up sissy ass shit you are sticking to isn't even him- and that's what sucks about it.

It would still suck if he did it, but I would shrug my shoulders and say "oh well, its his tourney, he has been running it for a century, he can do what he wants..."

But YOU- you are just some substitute teacher with no self confidence that's dictating according to your own weakness. I'm not even fighting against it anymore, just shaking my head at the lameness of it.

IF "I" wanted easier tournaments? Lmfao- please, please tell me you are not this dumb. Really? You are actually- in light of all the discussion, trying to say that I am the one looking for a break? I'm just going to give you a mulligan and say you hit the bong 22 times before this post.

If I need to spell it out for you, let me know.

This. That's what I was originally fighting for, for bc's to not become some handicapped no two pro loser gets the drop participation draw roto.

But its too late. Scott subbed in, put some make up on bc's, and now its gay.

You know what Christian, STFU already unless you go to BC's/Ecks as regularly as I have.
This issue has to be with the ONE DAYS notice about the change. You change up your event but you put out a notice well in advance. Baller has done different change up events before but has given advance notice. Tommy and Scott and yes Team USA have taken this tournament and changed it up in a week or less for the last 3 weeks. I did every thing in my power last week to try and make it successful for Team USA last week, even calling them out.
They didn't change up regular events for Vegas this weekend, just added the roller ball event. That event changed as it went along. They also didn't get all of the teams they guaranteed either.
Look what happened to Ecks when they changed owners and cooks and served food different than what people expected. If I go to a BBQ restaurant for the rib special on Thursday that I always go there on Thursdays for and they tell me they decided not to do that special but instead go with a salad special instead, I'm going to protest.

Yeah, I've got Boogie tomorrow and I don't want him hindered. I want to block, clear, and slide points! I've been told the goalie's job is not to worry about scoring, so goalie delight, hmmmm?

You don't have to respond to christian Jim, he is high as fuck. His argument is that handicaps are strong, and not wanting handicaps is weak. He lives in participation world. Free E hug for you, christian, just in case no one hugged you and you feel left out.

P.s. thanks for the invite to go to Bobs and destroy the gup pool, but I will take a pass. I like to test my metal against the best, at the toughest tourney Colorado has to offer. The one and only bad ass...um....oh wait. Never mind.

7500 feet high, and thanks for the hug. Part of me does want it spelled out, it'd probably be entertaining as hell. Just wait until I get some popcorn...

Jim, point for the one day notice. If Boogie is slaughtering fools than you won't notice any difference in the format either.

It doesn't get any simpler than this, so pay attention.

I go to bc's because it is an open byp. Every single week, anyone in Colorado can play with anyone. It is supposed to be the toughest tourney in Colorado, and if I want to compete and win, and I don't care for Marys tour, then the next toughest place for me to play is at bc's.

The reason you aren't very smart at all is this- you tried to say that "if I wanted an easy tourney, I should go play at a gup pool and dominate". I will repeat- are you stoned, or just slow?

And I don't just play bc's with pro's or masters either. Some guys, like miller, won't even walk in the door without Daniel Lueras.

So why am I not understanding how you are trying to make me feel bad about playing at bc's? Oh wait- I forgot- if I can't win bc's without some kind of handicap to assist the
"5ROW IMPAIRED" then I am somehow scared...ok. I get it. Why don't you just build me a throne and carry me around on it and get it over with. I don't speak "high", but I will try to translate- I am too bad ass so I should be more bad ass by giving someone else a chance to be bad ass too, therefore being even more bad ass if if give that chance and win anyway. Shit, I'm lost.

My point was- DON'T handicap BC'S, its the toughest tourney in Colorado. What is scared about that? Nothing.

But its too late. I will pit for Jim tomorrow, and bring some participation ribbons for anyone who doesn't place.

Lmao....now it all makes sense! You don't want him hindered? lol...oh my gosh...you guys already have your built in excuse all lined up and ready to go.

God forbid you just put your head down and play tough, no matter who is on the other side of the table, or how many points they have.

There is no handicap here - when the score is tied, you get the drop just like you normally would. It's still up to you guys to pass/score and win. I f you can't execute under pressure in a tight game, you deserve to go down.

I guess if a team gets 5-0'd in this format, they should get banned for life, or sit out a week... which ever is longer.

This board Rocks!!

Everybody's opinion is welcome.

This week only First place should get the money.
There's a twist.

So the person who is behind in points gets the drop? Correct?

See you Friday.

Oh and is this week $10 entry also?

When the score is tied. Lmao. No handicap there.

P.s.- just got an LOL text from someone that doesn't play bc's, but would whip the living shit out of anyone there-

He said- ITS A 5 ROW THING.

And now, it makes sense. I don't know what is weaker, the "leveling of the field" handicap, or Scotts attempt to pretend that there IS no handicap. I'm done debating this, its too irritating reading Scotts denial posts claiming there is no handicap- however- I will say one more thing.

I was at 404 last week, way before the tourney, teaching a beginner the game. Throughout the time we were seshing, I mentioned multiple times how important the 5 row is, and that if you can dominate the 5, you can win. He posts here, under 303- and I would, at this time, like to change my statement-

Bro- just keep working on your shot, if your 5 isnt up to par, you can always play at BC's, where the drops will always be yours.

Scott- you already admit to being weak, so saying that doesn't have an effect on you. But- thanks for making everyone else join your weakness.

Roger- your lack of support for no handicap just shows me how little faith you have in your own 5, and that sucks- I used to think you had a good one. Ask BJ if he wants the drop every time his team is behind in points- I bet a million bucks he says no- he wouldn't want the handout, he is a battler, through and through.

I get on here and talk shit about miller- but I bet you he wouldn't want this horseshit either, so props to him as well.

Bc's. The new handicap arena.

I'll try one more time here, Boogie.

You, by your own admission, want the toughest competition you can find. As someone who usually resides near (or at) the top of the food chain at BC's, this particular kind of handicap will either have no effect whatsoever or it will actually make the competition tougher for you!

Sure, if you're on the guppy side of things it will give you more opportunities and therefore make it "easier" for you to win. Now if you were one of the said "guppies," and your argument is that you go to BC's because you want the toughest competition, and they put a handicap on the tourney; then your argument actually has merit!

Your argument, from where you stand at/near the top of the food chain, is bull shit. You want tough competition, this handicap will only have the (possible) effect of increasing the level of competition against you. If you were a guppy, then argue away friend, argue away.

Not sure how I gave you the impression that I want you to "feel bad" about playing at BC's. You still seem to hate this idea like its a permanent format change, last I checked it was still one week only.

[Insert ad hominem attacks and 2nd grade insults here]

PS: I expected more GIFs.

Do you guys force Paco and Jorge to give you all the drops?

What is Bobs handicap? None? Whoa...
What about 404? Losing team gets all drops? No? Whoa..
OH! Its JUST bc's. Ok.

Boom. Mic drop. (Bc's called, said that you are counterproductive, don't rep them please)
