I'm kinda in agreement with Nick after reading some comments from regular participants on the EZ board. I am also away on vacation usually on the last week of October and this time even the first week of November. Although I'm not sure I would participate in a tour type event until the scheduling improves so that an event doesn't run for an extra day or two like what happened to me in AD two tourneys ago, finals taking place at 6 AM on Monday morning after the event started 3+ hours delayed at around 10 PM on Saturday, I still like to be a fan and cheer on my Colorado foos friends. I also provide lodging for certain traveling out of State fooser(s) and I will not be able to do that this year with the Hallowen weekend schedule.

Why not shoot for early October instead? I know there is a concern about scheduling too close to another tour event but what I've seen from the past few years is that some of these other events don't stick to a regular schedule either.

Halloween weekend is gonna leave alot of people home. I like the original dates and it seems to fit for almost 300 players. To change the date is a mistake IMO. Colorado state is strong enough to not have to change to keep it one of the best tournaments on the planet.

Wow! Sheri moved Colorado State because the Bart O need the Nov 14 because of everything going on in Austin and no hotels would be available for them until Nov. I guess history of the US Open and Bart O being on the same weekend kind of drove that decision. Bart O being the tournament it is should take priority over any State tournament. We will meet this week and discuss alternatives and let you know.

Don't read Scotts shit Sheri, he just wants to see the world burning. Sometimes I think we all need to pitch in and beat Scott with bars of soap wrapped in towels. Unless he started liking it, then everyone should just cover their butt and run.

Obviously I recognize everything that TSK has done, and thank you guys for it. If you, or any fooser, ever needed anything, I would step up in a heartbeat (short of paying for your vacations). I can’t help my sense of humor, it’s not butthole obsessed like Jim’s.
