Uh Roger, the comment was about the bar owner adding 50% to the pot. If you have only 10 foosers and they all are just drinking water, at $10 a person the pot is $100. Now I ask you, when the owner goes over his receipts from the foosers at the end of the night and sees that there are none, how often do you think he will add $50 to the pot?
The glory days of Foosball Halls have long past and there aren't bars stumbling over themselves trying to get foosers. Things have to work for them from a business aspect and foosers have to show some respect. America's is the latest example of this.

Bottled water would solve this problem. The house could pay rent, the help could make a tip and the old guys would cool off with a refreshing non alcoholic beverage.
Problem solved, $3.00 bottle of water with a smile. Note no tip when eyes are rolled.

Sounds awesome! Go to Tocabe's on the Southeast corner of 44th and Lowell in North Denver and try an Indian Fry Bread Taco and the Bison ribs. They rock! The ribs run out early in the evening so you wanna get there before 6 or 7 pm, especially on the weekends.
