For the last few months Americas on Thursday nights were home to some great Foosball competition. Thursday is here once again, but this time there is no Foos at Americas.
I came up with a small list of places I knew that have a table, please add to my list!

So what's the deal with 404?
I thought it was a beginner tourney...are those same beginners still playing? Are they into the game when the big dogs come out to dominate?
In addition - are there any new tourney plans or ideas?
I kinda feel like losing Boulder/Davin really hurt the scene. Maybe not immediately, but long term...no new blood is going to come in without growing the game the way Davin did it. I vote for a new beginner feeder tourney, but that's just me. I don't know how it would work, and what all risks are involved with the new venues, but those kinds of rookie only tourneys have always had a track record of getting good turnouts.
Any other ideas?

I heard that 404 was starting a Friday BYP with the goal of shutting down the BC's tourney next.

Seriously though I agree that the Boulder tourney shutdown has definitely hurt the newb scene. Davin did great work with it.
TSK does great work promoting foos and I hope they find something up North on a Saturday as a killer DYP and maybe a rook tourney during the week.

Always starts around 11:00- 11:30 p.m.
Just the way they've always done things.
It's single elimination, finals are 1 set also.

You might say that now, but history has shown that all of these noob start up tourneys bring in new players...turnouts are good...but when the big dawgs come to smash them, it dies. Every. Single. Time. Most of those players don't want to play World Champions, they just want to have a good time and be competitive. Just throwing that out there - please don't fuck up a beginner player base.
