Well jim, I guess to answer your question why I played Amateur Doubles, I felt like sandbagging way beyond my natural rank...
and im going to play it again this year with Bruce. because we can. After all Slice/. I stand a rebel against the systematics of a chaotic point system..

Besides slice/ the players that will be playing in this year's AD event, will be the same kind of players we all play against on a weekly bases.. that we all win and lose against on a weekly bases, except for a minor few that lead the state as of this wing of time..

Yeah Trashy, I know, but I didnt make the rules, I'll play the AD, till the system wise's up to reality! After all how many amateurs, or rookies enter the expert, or pro events, turning those events into mainly a low rank event.

Hey look a master singles event...meanwhile 40 amateurs, 5 experts, 3 pros, and 2 masters enter the event.. turning the masters event into the melting pot of all ranks..although masters dont play Amateurs..

Do you get my drift!

Then all your self praising rambling is just a bunch of BS.
The cool thing is that you could win AD or place anywhere lower and you still lose. Credibility already out the window.
Stop talking oh mighty amateur Jedi.

I'm ranked Am in Singles and Dubs as well Dave, but I would never drop to a lower
rank after I've already won in Ex. on the National tour.
There is no masters singles, it's called Open because well...oh never mind.

Amateur jedi..to funny, thats not saying much for the majority of players that hit the only singles event that colo has, considering im sitting 50+ points in the lead of all in colo in the singles division..Gee imagine that!
I wonder why that is?

Soooo, I guess if you can say im an Amateur, then I guess I can say the Metro is fucking weak! SINCE I DOMINATE THE SCENE AT THIS POINT!

that being said, it doesn't give any room for anyone to REBUTTAL, BANTER or DIS that fact..

All of you can talk about ranks, points, all of your world titles you all have, how many trophies you have on the floor, that BCs has the roughest, toughest player base in colo..everything about matches and score's can be foolishly mentioned at a whim, but it doesn't change the fact of the present time, and the fact that I have colo by the balls...

It was once said, "that I was pretty much done evolving"! What you see is what you get! Hahahaha

FACT OR FICTION, for who can decide?
PROPHECY OR NOT, for who can tell?

This is going to be quite easy to understand for most.

1. Foos is one of the most kick ass fun games/hobby/sports/ around.
2. Competitive foos is supposed to be just that, competitive.
3. Players who dominate in a city like Denver and beyond for umpteen years, have no business playing in Rook or Am. events, regardless of what the jacked up point system says.
4.^Refer to 3.

Your points in singles are based on participation you fucking moron. Nobody plays there as much as you so grow a pair and only play open if you think your that fucking good.

I don't know if I'd have a problem with Trashy playing AM's now (at CO state where you know tons of other awesome AM's will be there).

The points are so messed up that you have ex pros in expert, so it only makes sense that AM has expert caliber players in there.

It's all so subjective...on a case by case basis. I think Dustin is an AM no big deal, but if they dropped Knapton or Moose down...it would clearly be a gap in talent level. Even if the best AM's might be able to knock off Moose or Future here and there, they certainly don't stand a chance all things being equal. I think that's the goal of ranks - to allow people of similar skill to compete against each other.

You can't just say "points are jacked, so who cares...". That argument only benefits the best players in each rank. The true in each rank get screwed.

The best you can do is have local promoters who are super fair assign ranks on those few exceptions. These ranking issues are really only dealing with a handful of players - those that play a lot, but don't play rated tourneys.

Trashy's point is the HE has no need to play at his reset points rank of amateur after winning a national level expert title nor would he want to.
I hear that Tiger Woods is going to try and win another US amateur golf title next year after he heals since he's dropped in rankings points.

X, If you were dropped to 1300 in both singles and dubs would you play Am?

lol - no.

Even if I didn't win it, I know I would still slaughter a handful of am's who deserve a fair shot at higher placings.

No tiny town, of course your wrong... Americas points ARE NOT based on attendence participation. A player has to finish in the money to get points or tickets, one does not simply get points or tickets for just showing up..

sooo, since i'm the point leader at this time, it calculates out that I have taken home more cash in's from America's than anyone else in colo for the year. My 51.5 points In singles at this time is only due to placing in the money..on a consistent based percentage.. the number's speaks the truth for itself...
That is just in singles, I have also finished in the money in the D.Y.P somewhat too, just to add to that take home pay outs..

And your wrong again here, although, I am the first player at this time to qualify for a state package, but i'm not the only one that will qualify, E.A. has 15 show ups at Americas, but his winning points are lower, because he is NOT winning as much...

Bottom line in the nutshell, payouts= points!

You get 2 points every time you show up, so 32 of your points are just for being there. Which means only 18 victory points, which sounds about right for an amateur level player. I am pretty sure if Bolson attended 16 Americas tourneys that he would have 50 points as well.

Boogie is right again. Jedi is wrong again.

Can't wait to hear the spin on THIS error.

Also can't wait for State handicapped singles where Jedi the Amateur has to spot Dustin the Rookie 1 point. Then again Boogie will have to score 7 to Jedi's 5 so he will only beat him 14-4. Gawd I hate nail biters.
