I have some plumbing issues in the new home and need to get the pipes scoped and fixed. Does anyone know of a reputable plumber they use all the time, or have good experience with?
Thanks! |

lol - Well I'm not looking for a plumber to come out and look down the pipe and pull out a sock that takes 15 minutes, and then charge me $100. Edited by user Monday, July 28, 2014 12:17:35 AM(UTC)

If it is just a plugged drain pipe where they run a snake it will be a $100 for like a kitchen sink. I forget what the 4 inch main cost me. Think it was 200-300. I've used Garvins twice. (303) 571-5114 Weekends or late hours are the same price with Garvins. The above is without a scope. Pretty sure scoping cost more than a drain cleaner running a snake. Scott thinks that 40 an hour for a professional is an outrageous price. I hope he hires a professional for 125 dollar minimum trip charge and they are out of there in less than 15 minutes. That dude still pm's me for advice and I tell him to call a professional and he mentions the fact that I charged him 40 dollars for being at his house for more than an hour. Guess he expected me to let him blow me for payment. He would flip if he knew my price for golf lessons.

I ended up calling Rotorooter, and it was about the same price - $290 They fixed the drain, but then when they left, it started bubbling up again. Ugh. So they are coming to fix it again and scope it - $150. Hopefully there's nothing really bad under the house foundation. When I bought the house, the previous owners just had the sewer line from the house to the street replaced, so I didn't even think to check/scope the foundation house line. I know the previous owners HAD to have had their line scoped when they replaced the outside line....so it's pretty convenient that once they move, we get drainage issues right off the bat. X PS - City, you paper pro! you're like some jilted ex-lover who won't let shit go. lol If you're going to spew your side of the story, at least use facts, not made up numbers. PPS - Practice your goalie game already, cause I need an expert goalie to win ED with at state. I'm pretty sure Mary would drop you. |

Looks like it's time for another benefit tournament. Maybe Gym has a clever idea for a name.
