I'm still a zombie and can barely move my hand from all the foos, so I can't type all my thoughts on the tourney and the performances from players, but I was looking at the results and saw Dana won WS!!! Holy crap! I think that's the best win of the tourney!! She never plays anymore and look at all those Women Badasses in that event!!
This was the first time I saw Stayce Fowler play, and she was a monster! She went head to head with Sticky/Jen in OM as a forward and was passing and scoring at at a high rate. Plus you had Traci in there who went to the end of Pro singles. Kristin, Shelly, Moya, etc....all the women's heavyweights.
Just wow - congrats Dana. That event was no joke! Maybe you don't get to wear a Worlds jacket from this, but you EARNED one with that field!

I was in the bleachers as that match finished. Dana appeared to have a cathartic emotional moment after that incredible victory. I sensed it was something bigger than just table soccer. Big congrats Dana!

it was awesome to see a girl i met at colorado state over 12 years ago, mature to the phenomenal woman she is now, on and off the foos table...

I've really been impressed by how much Dana's game has been stepping up over the past few months. Nice smooth roller and a compact near wall 5 that can give anybody fits if they try to chase her. Congrats on some great playing! You even carried Tony to another open mixed title :)

I had the mic and had to take a deep breathe before announcing Dana as the champ! TOTALLY Choked up and teary eyed. LOL. You rock lady, I got to watch a bit of one of your matches, and was SOOO impressed with how much your forward game has improved... Wish I could have seen more! Way to go lady!
Traci, you are an absolute beast on the table, I was very thankful I only had to play one match against you this weekend! What a field of Women the two of you had to go through to get to the finals. Very proud of you both!!!!!

Thank you everyone!!! I'm still trying to process it all. I knew that I wanted that title and I wasn't going down w/o a fight either. I keep thinking about that last point and when it went in, I couldn't believe it for a second... then it hit me and I screamed lol. I still can't believe that I did it!
I just want to say I love you all and thanks again for all the support I received afterwards. I'm seriously still in shock.
Now I need a table so I can keep it up.
