The game of foosball has really hurt themselves for not recording history. You can go back to 1876 for MLB and get a objective number.

At this time In the future, the Rollover, aka snake-shot, aka Wrist-Rocket will be the set shot for almost every player that stands at the table... the standard pull, pushkick, pullkick, will be shot option's that will NOT be used on the table as a basic format of offense, but in turn as all history has a reverse side of the coin.
The players that aquire the table skills of free style will be the dominant players of the grand circuit!

In my professional jedi Master opinion, the Ranking System is burnt toast, without any chance of hell of recovery!

I have preached about this D rated point system for a decade now, now look at the importance of this issue and the chaos it has created. Now here we are, the players skill over rides the players rank, with the exception of thos that are ranked where they belong.

It sure was fun playing AD this year with a field of experts, and old school pros, with players that I battle with on a weekly standard bases that ive played against for as long In years before, and since my name has been jedi.

Personally, " I believe that we are all pros at this game! Or just start calling our local weekly events at BC's and America's, Amature singles, Amature DYP, and last but not least, Amature BYP...NOW THAT WILL SCATTER THE ANT'S FROM THE fIERY ANT HILL, OR AS LIKE A DEEP FREEZE, FORCING THEM UNDER GROUND!

No biggie Sheri. Still, I need all 4ths with 8+ teams, or none at all to make it fair.

If there was an honest point system it would be easy peasy to add tourney strength value to the pts. BC's on avg has the highest ranked players, say Expert=3, then 3x5= 15pts- Bobs avg AM=2, 5x2=10 etc etc, strength of tourney is important but there isn't an honest pt system. X's in state rankings carry more value to me.

It is really a shame that foosball didn't take the time to record their history with objective numbers. That Elo? Ranking was a joke. Elo is fine for chess which is a static game, foosball is as dynamic as it gets. Pt avg tells all.
