Can I bring my wife and 9 year old boy to this without much concern about drugs, profanity, violent video games and nudity?

I am moving into a new house that morning, June 14th, and have a couple friends lined up as well as a professional company and truck reserved.

I'll cancel the moving company, and use those moving expenses to donate to the Pops tournament, but I'll need 5 or 6 foosers to help me out (already have at least 2 I think).

There's not a lot of big stuff, and I'm only moving 5 minutes away...so it won't be a horrible few hours. In exchange for some help I'll offer 2 things:

1) I'll help any of you move any time, forever.

2) I will donate $50 per person to Pop's benefit for whomever helps, up to $300 max. (6 people)

Any takers?

Not trying to derail any thread here, but for those of you who can't make the tourney, or are short on funds, you can still help out with 3 or so hours of moving. We'd start at 9am, and be done way before the benefit starts.

Let me know if you're in, since I have reservations to change.

X

Scott,

That's a nice, generous offer.

Although, I won't be able t'offer much in th'muscle department, I'd like t'contribute by offering th'use of my truck if it'll help you out at all.

I don't need/want any compensation or donations given in my name, I'll take care of that on my own. Just thinkin that might help your move go more quickly and maybe sway a fooser or two knowin there'd be less trips to and from th'new place.

Lemme know.

Gotcha ... I misunderstood your post, apparently.

Good luck with your move ...

See ya all at Dan's t'celebrate Pops.

Ah...yeah...I hired a moving company with their truck + 2 guys...

Again, don't want to derail Pop's thread. Just thought it might be a way to donate to the benefit.

Thanks.

I have a truck and an 18 foot enclosed trailer. I'll offer my driving skills and words of encouragement for the cause, and don't have to count as one of the 6 people. I've already filled my quota for the year though of actually lifting other people's stuff during a move. Ah, the curse of owning a truck. :)

You'll come with a truck and trailer but you won't help lift or load anything? LOL REALLY!

Yeah, that's kinda like Nick's pitch to potential partners...

Just bumping this!

I have some people coming to help out with the move, but a couple more would still be awesome. (No worries though if you can't, moving blows) All costs saved from the moving co are being donated to Ditto’s dad’s tourney.

Saturday – 9 to 9:30am
3550 S. Harlan St. #9-354
Denver CO 80236

Get on Hampden Frontage road, south on Depew (not Harlan). Building 9 is right on Depew. Phone is 303.980.4544

Should be done in plenty of time for Pops’ tourney.

Thanks!

Thanks to all that help organize and run the tourney for such a great cause.

Highs...Tornado and Fireball
Lows ...Bonzini and Garlando ( first time on either = humbling)

High : Robbie and Sheri have the results but I think the money raised was $1800.

All hail Cheezy for the use of his house, as in golf ball sized. Yikes! Crazy stuff. First time actually seeing one not on tv. Bummer for everybody's cars.

Awesome event all! Thank you to everybody involved. Tons of fun. Just amazing foos family that we have here! Glad to share in this event with all of you. Keep Pops sprit alive in all of us!
