THEN, it suddenly occurred to me at 4am why the results weren't updated.

Damn - Kristin is knocking out some monsters in Open Women's singles!

Congrats to our two title winners! Ryan Moore won open doubles and the master BYP, and Christian Ewing won the Main St. DYP.

Competition must have been pretty strong...I thought CO would take home a lot more than what it did.

DYP is a title event? Especially an amateur and lower DYP? Where was Big Dye for this marquis event?

Dude, Ross got 5th in OS. Did you see the results list? It's pretty much foosball legends and badasses for the top 25 spots. I'd take cashing in Open at the 2nd or 3rd toughest tourney in the country over a "title" any day. Plus 4th in PS.

And then Kristin and Dana whooped some serious Pro Master asses in Open events. Kristin is an AM, and beating multiple Pro Masters. Gena Murray and Liz Hill?? Liz is arguably the best female fooser ever along with Cindy Head.

Dana is an Expert, Colter is a Pro, and they almost took OM against the country's top PM's. Lueras, Terry Rue, Ryan Moore, John Smith, Robbie...that's fucking sick.

CJ also had a big run in Pro, beating John Smith (World Champ in Open, and in the HOF), and other top pros...

Lexy and Sandy beat some Pro Masters and World Champs in OWD.

Kane has some great results too.

Not sure what all you thought CO should have done that they didn't...but I think what they accomplished is pretty awesome. TX State may as well be the 3rd major. Even Tony only got one title unless you count the DYP. Competition was nasty.

Maybe if they would have played 2 ranks below what their skill level was, they would have won an easy title. lol

I was watching the brackets all weekend and we did do really well. I just thought we'd have a couple more wins with players like Ross, Brubaker, Knapton, Kane, Robby, and Ryan representing. Those are 6 guys that can wreck a bracket. We had a good amount of high finishes, and congrats to all those players. I'm just saying the competition must have been steep to keep us from taking a few more first places given how good our talent is.

The only player you listed who I thought would do much better is Brubaker. He was crushing it here the last few weeks.

He posted that he's just having a bad weekend - sucks. He's not an expert, so he's only got 2 ranks to do well in, and those are loaded charts. Not a lot of wiggle room for having an off match.

Congrats ALL Colorado Foosers!

What impressed me is Dana getting 2nd in OM with a darn good Pro.

Mark's shot is an ejaculation of raw power and glory, but still sometimes a little premature. He has been back-spackling a lot of Colorado foosers lately. With more experience he will quit getting squirted out of brackets like the bad diarrhea he had this weekend.

He also handled T-Mac and Chris Hesano on the way there. Awesome work...which brings me to this question for Ross: WTF do you do on tour that you don't do locally? 2+Q at America's and then a week later you're putting on a show in Texas? Your game's solid enough all-around that it's not one of those gimmicky beat-you-the-first-time-but-not-once-you've-seen-my-options games. Is it just rest and preparation? Staying warm by playing all day? Extra motivation to win something that means more to you? I'm honestly confused as to how it's so night and day different.

Congrats on the great wins. Keep it up, then hurry back home. I went 2+Q at BC's on Friday, and that never happens when you're here.

Ross has been building momentum for years. Lantzys flashes of brilliance shouldnt surprise anyone. I never dumped you bro I just couldnt get outta work. As far as playing better on tour the best players do. Loffedo diddnt win much locally but dominated on tour and still does. Theres a big difference when your playing at a major for hundreds and possibly thousands as opposed to playing for 30 bucks. It's not just $$ its the prestige of competing with the games best that should bring out the best in ones game. Its one thing to be a local stud but its a different dimension when you can take those beatdowns to an opponents front door. Every state has their local studs that never leave their local scene. They have great skillsets but lack "pressure control" when they do finally leave the state. Not only that facing different top notch styles makes ones game stronger in subtle ways. Like X said ross has all the tools. Imagine if he gave up drinking and actually played up to 100% of his potential? He can compete with the games best, he already proved that.

Yeah that was pretty fun screaming on those master chicks. They were hurt! Look for more to come from Lexy and I! This is only the beginning. She is a talented forward and I am totally proud to be on her team. =D

Thanks, X.

Was a lot of fun, little disappointed with how I played over the whole weekend, but that was more an issue of me showing up not fully rested. I didn't necessarily play poorly, but there were too many times when I was lack-luster and/or losing points on hustle plays.

WTF ... I was so wasted after playing golf when I wrote that. Note to self - don't post when drunk. What I meant to say is Mark's shot is nasty. He has been smashing my ass for a while now. Sounds like just an off weekend. That is all.
