This Friday at BC's we are going to have a special tourney! Were calling it the "Leveling The odds Tourney"

Here's how it's going to work: The teams meet at the table and flip for the drop & side as normal. Match play starts as normal and from this point on the team that is behind in points gets the drop. So if your team is two points behind and you score you get the drop again. If the behind team scores and ties the game then the drop goes to the team that was ahead in points before the score.

BC's BYP
Start Time 8:30pm
Entry Fee $10 per player

This format was brought on by the "boogie/nick pistol whipping" of 2014.

After Baller watched our 4 minute 2 game final against ross and jack, he said- "something must be done about boogies 5...that was almost as frightening as the 10-1 they laid on Dustin and Tim for kingseat..."

Ahhh....total dominance...very,...satisfying....

Sincerely,

lol @ Phil.

Good job lately on dominating BC's with every gup across the land.

I think this format is pretty awesome for a specialty event. It'll make the higher ranked players focus more, especially on their 5 row D.

And, it'll give the lower ranked players a strong shot at knocking off the better teams. Getting the drop is pretty huge. All the lower ranked players should try to hit this tourney with the bigger payout.

This sounds like a blast. Anybody want to team up for this one?

I do have to say that Phil has been crushing CO foos for a while. I'd have to call it a toss up between Boogie and Daniel for CO's best pro. Nice work keeping the beatdowns rolling.

And I would have to say Dave Miller is Colorado best master!

According to numerous reports (one, albeit autobiographical) he did thoroughly thrash Phil the last time they played with a brilliant display of patience and precision shot making. I would have to say a definite master.

haha, you're starting to look like Cool Hand Luke jumping the fence from side to side to lose the bloodhounds.

Of course handicapping increases demand from the lower ranks in tournaments and gambling. Traditional brow beatings ain't a must.

That sounds like a great format!

I would agree with the 5 far D aspect being huge.

I have no idea what this means.

If you could start your own personal thread like Jedi has, so I could just ignore that one too, that would be great.

Thanks!

This tourney is going to be so Badass.

One thing is for certain, it's 100% the forwards fault for losing now!

Or when he schedules a Valentine's date night on another day of the week under the guise of "the restaurant will be less crowded".

Hey, someone recorded my 5 bar in action last week! The guy in the yellow jacket is, well, every forward I played. Note that, as i walked up to the table, the initial feeling of my opponent was- "fuck your 5 Phil"...but then....

Enjoy!

For the last 2 decades, my wife and I have enjoyed our valentine's day dinners on the preceding weekend, just to avoid the crowds.
