I'd give the nod to BC's talent wise based on larger turnouts may have more higher ranked players. It's not a giveme every week though.

TD's own rankings would be better then my guessing but you get my point. The two tourneys are similar in top players. Deadbar is the only Pro I know for sure and top player last week. To get 1st you have to go thru him. Don't know why he doesn't play BC's? He ruled there also.

The TD's or someone like X should put out the true rankings. Fuck those mass demand reset points that IFP uses.

Speaking of X, it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him or Gym in a walking billboard plugging BC's. Yes, it is that obvious.

Kraus is a pro. Ross has a pro singles tour title.
The tournament is as tough as the competition plays that is placed in front of you. I've seen plenty of 3's beat 5's and even a 6 on rare occasions.
What makes BC's tops is that it isn't no 2 anything. You could be up against 2 pros or even 2 pro masters.
America's consistently has tough competition too so there is no way I will put it down.
Boulder is tough and Davin rocks but the tables are really bad. No offense to Davin, just what them college kids do.

Okay just kidding on the last one. Avon is bringing in a bunch of cool newbies that are really picking up the game, even if they are not there yet. Great turnouts! Better people!

Dammit Boogie, I don't hate BC's. Why should I? If I did it sure wouldn't be for the reason you stated. I also don't hate AT&T Ballpark where the Giants play and the Rockies stink it up there. Matter of fact, AT&T Ballpark gets my nod for being the best there is. Also, the Rockies are .472 all time, but if I'm a fan of a team or player, you're stuck with me for life. There ain't a bit of front runner or bandwagon in me.

More about The Jedi and me, are we friends? I would like to think so. Do we socialize at tournaments? A bit, most being this last year. Do we have a common? Yes, there is two of them. Foos being one and he runs my favorite singles style, being the other. The only other common I can think of is ROTN, I created it and he has won more tourneys up there since I've been reading results on the board. So he wears the ROTN Crown. Some say so what? I say fine. So far it has spurred one tournament and I'd like to think, had a little to do with the two civil wars where they crowned The Jedi. Not to bad for an old school freestyler putting down the percentage game.

The constant plugging X, it's that obvious. Pump up a few other tourneys, it's good for the game. Gym mentioned the Attics tables were in poor state due to college kids, so what? Both teams are on the same table= push. It would be refreshing for players to mention this. Play ball!

No I haven't ever been to a Boulder Tournament. Just me, but it is one town I don't care for.



Yeah, but that becomes a push where more skilled players have the overall advantage= adjustments. I can see where a world beater like Champ would have a strong point. But a local? Cookie cutter tables=cookie cutter players=push and vice versa. Tables don't adjust to humans. Over a dozen years ago I showed a shooter a dead spot on the rail, I heard a gambler bitching about. The shooter said, that don't matter as long as my opponent is on the same table. That has stuck with me, and nothing could be more true.

X, I don't watch anything that pertains to Britney. After years of seeing you pump one tournament, and one tournament only, gives off like a country club atmosphere. We have the best players, we have the best turnout, you win there but you can't win here. Geez, a lot of that is due to Friday night and being the only Bring in the state, that I know of. When you get down to the nitty gritty, BC's is just another bar, where foosers gather to play the game. It's always about the game, other factors are moot.
