Actually, Jack and I were the ones who put Greg/Paul in the loser's bracket. It was a good match though, and Greg's 5-bar was passing at a really high percentage. It's not surprising they went as far as they did. Boogie/Cheez got us on the winner's side and Ross/Sherm handled us on the loser's.

Honest assessment of last night:

Nobody has gotten better I have just gotten worse with the exception of the obvious few who are dominating lately.

Boogie what can I say, between him and sticky there are only 2 players right now that are borderline masters
Roger in my opinion has been a master since I started playing and his 5 was gross last night. I think I blocked 1 pass? That could be doubtful. We played on the shitty table with all dead men so his stroke wasn't the world champ status but when he hit a long it went all the way beast mode!! He makes me want to come out of retirement and practice... maybe not.

Great to see everyone last night and I finally got to congrat my sis Tommie on what i have known has been meant to be for years. Gummy's a stud and he will be an amazing addition to the stale foos scene.

This is what I have always liked about city...everyone's like "no, I think that so and so put who's that in the losers, who went out in 3...no wait, so and so went out in 4 and someone bet 2 grand on a match once.

Here's the short version: boogie and cheese, after not playing for weeks at bc's, walk in and pistol whip everyone. They may disappear for awhile and let the rest of you battle for first, or- they may stop by again and win just to reinforce the dominance. Keep you fingers crossed that they disappear again. The end.
