Bounty goes like this:

There's a $10 pot to start (provided by Baller lol)

If you want in on the bounty, you pay an extra $2 per player per team when you pay your entry. This is done before the draw.

The first team who is in the bounty contest, who beats Kane (or Ryan if he's there)...gets the bounty. If no one wins the bounty, it rolls over to next week. If you don't even play Kane, then your contributions still stays in the pot.

Only non-masters can enter bounty.

I think that's the gist of it?

Maybe Baller can remember how he ran it at Eck's.

lmao - I didn't give him shit for playing your goalie, but I did say good luck...with a big emphasis on the GOOD LUCK.

haha

Kid's not a backpack because he won singles too.

Jim's the lone backpack in this thread.

Great job Kid and AK (aka bAcK pAcK)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked a couple of them up and yes, they were ranked lower in doubles than singles. Always seems to happen.

Those were the points I was looking at AK. I'm not sure they reset them that soon so they're prolly the same points they started the tourney with. I could be wrong.
Makes that win sweeter huh!

Onney Smith 1676/1448 Umm he is AM in doubles 1448!
Kjas Wolf 1324/1397 he is an am in both!

No idea what your talking about Slice. I know both of these guys and have played them in the past and last weekend. I dont think of either person as a sandbagger or someone that the points system missed. Both just happen to be very good AM's on the brink of moving to EX.

When you look at their profile it says they are both experts. Nobody called them sandbaggers, just that the point system is flawed. The other player was Keith English, 1332/1564 and with Onney Smith at 1676/1448, there are some high points for each of them on one side of either singles or doubles. I noticed that they are from Oklahoma and it was at Tommy and Kathy Adkissons Oklahoma State tourney a few years ago where Adam Parochka won a semi-pro title but was somehow allowed to play as a beginner at the National's Super Doubles a few weeks later which allowed a semi-pro, same as expert now, to only have to score 4 points to the Pro-Master's 8 points. Tommy and Kathy were at that Super Doubles but neither thought it proper to let Mary know that he won a semi-pro title and should not be allowed to play as a beginner. Needless to say the expert beginner won and pocketed I believe $8,000 with his partner. See, same flawed system that at least doesn't look right on paper. He won a semi-pro dubs title and placed in the top 10 in open dubs or maybe singles in Texas or another State before that Super Dubs too.

I do see that the points say expert starts at 1501 so it is closer to amateur than I originally thought. It's odd that one guy is expert in singles and amateur in dubs while it's the opposite for the other and that both are called experts. Like I said, goofy system that brings up questions when you see the results and you see experts plaing in amateur and pros playing in expert.

I think the moral of the story is that our player base is so good that even our AM's can bust up some experts any given day.

When we had the Bounty out on Robbie. Any team that wanted to go after the bounty would pay a dollar a head so $2 a team. I would take money out of that bounty pot to pay Robbie's entry into the tournament. When it was won (by sticky & ?) the pot was like $150 I believe.
