Accuna and Dennison didn't have that great of a showing. First match the won against me and Kane Dennison jarred the ball in after I blocked it and refused to replay the ball. In the second match we played to get to the finals, Scott called time against Kane on the match winning shot that Kane scored. Scott didn't have a time clock. His dumb ass claims to be counting in his head. You guys did play well. But you didn't earn that spot in the finals. We did. Only reason u advanced is cuz Kane left. Not wanting to deal will anymore unjust bullshit. Scott, if your going to call time, you need a stopwatch. Read the rules. Nowhere does it state that it's acceptable to call a time ruling without a clock. Go get certified at nationals before your ref any other matches. Your unqualified reffing does nothing positive for the scene.

That goes for you and Kane both.

Here are the facts:

Acuna and Dennison ABSOLUTELY earned their spot in the finals.

You and Kane had a super rediculously easy bracket. I don't even think there was a non-AM team up there lol. Acuna and Dennison put you guys into the losers which stunned everyone. I have been playing both of those guys for 18 years, and they don't cheat. They might reset or jar occasionally...we all do...but they aren't cheaters. I could give that team a point spot each game and still roll them, so give me a break about them getting one jar is the reason they won. lol

Rucnicki and BJ smacked Acuna/Dennison down like the gups they are in the winner's final.

You guys rolled me and Ditto bad to get to the Acuna/Dennison rematch.

Then, in the loser's bracket final...I reffed the match and made 3 calls against Acuna and Dennison. Your 2-5 passing to Kane was 100% for 2 games. It was impressive to watch. Kane was living with the ball, but both Acuna and Dennison's defense on both rods were outstanding. They refused to be buried, despite being owned.

You guys won the first game 5-4 despite Kane dominating time of possession.

Now...about the final call in the second game meatnut (which you guys won the first game...so that makes this drama all the more silly - you still had plenty or match left to win)

When I ref, I count SUUUUUPER slow in my head...just to make sure teams don't get out of hand with time. Like...I might give a team 13 seconds on the 5, and 17 or 18 seconds on the 3 bar because I don't even start counting for a second or two. It's just a fall back thing I do, because it would suck for a team to abuse the clock just because there is not a timer there. Again, teams are getting LOTS of leeway on the time. To say it's so unreasonable to count without a stopwatch...I know how to "one-one-thousand..." count like any person over the age of 10. No it's not 100% exact, but it's pretty darn accurate.

Kane drug the ball back and forth on his 3 bar quite a few times, and then sat on the pull for a while. I counted REALLY slow and RIGHT when I said time, he banged the winning pull. It was unfortunate, but come on...he was probably at 17 seconds if a timer was there.

Worse case scenario, the ball went to Acuna's five bar. Instead, Kane lost it...wanted to fight...me...Acuna...lol..it was nuts. I can't UNDO the call, and I said we can get an official timer going forward. Nope...he was checked out going crazy. Then, I gave you guys a time out so he could calm down (you were fine)...and it didn't matter. Enough was enough...I gave them a technical call, but Kane was done, and left.

I still was open to you guys finishing the match and I went outside to get you guys to finish, but Kane drove away, and then you asked if you could play singles to finish the match. lol Dude, I'm not going to allow a pro to play two AM's in the loser's bracket finals. And then you called me an idiot and probably some other things, but whatever, I was done listening to both of you.

Finals proceed....Rudnicki and BJ pimp slap Acuna/Dennison 2 games straight. lol...which is what you guys should have done.

Bottom line is Acuna and Dennison dominated with defense, and your partner BAILED on you because of one call he didn't like, when you guys were up 1 game in the match. The only person you should be mad about is KANE. I didn't bail on you, leaving you high and dry against two rookies, Kane did.

So F you guys and your bullshit. You are on thin ice there, so keep it up. Where else can you talk shit and get physical with people running things and still keep playing?

That said - you're both awesome players, and we'd love to have you back. lol Maybe we can find a corner to put people in time out when they decide to act like 3 year olds. lol

Going forward, if I ref, I'll be clear about the timing issue, and that way everyone can be on the same page as to what they want.

This reminds me of a funny story.

Mark, you called Cheez to ref a BYP match against me at the Bonfire.

Cheez then proceeded to call THREE "time" calls against you in game 1, and you argued all three of them.

He had a smartphone, and you STILL argued the calls. And I even agreed with you, and Cheez just threw up his hands and left.

It wouldn't even matter if I had a phone, you'd still argue shit.

This isn't Worlds where we have Arthur Mitchell and Tom Yore reffing the match and Dennis Ory keeping track of time. Cut us some slack, we're doing our best.

No stop watch no time call. Simple. If you disagree your an idiot. Lol I do remember Cheese calling time with a smartphone and forgot to reset it. He called time at like 6 seconds and we both agreed that was incorrect. Mistakes happen. U made a mistake calling time on Kane with no stopwatch. Best we can to to correct mistakes is to be sure that doesn't happen again. There's an app called Get-a-ref. It's a perfect app for keeping time, even the simplest of dummies can use it effectively.

I don't care how easy the bracket may have been, I just want a fair shake at winning like everyone else. It's bullshit to get cheated by a tyrant of a TD.

You're both hung up on the clock, but the fact is I know how to count, and he went over the limit. Bad calls happen in sports. You don't check out and leave the game. You man up and overcome.

A Top 10 pro master in the world, and a dominant pro, and because you didn't receive one call, you guys blew up against two amateurs. I can't really fault you Mark, you played great - blocked well, fed Kane with that nasty 3-5 bar pass.

You did get screwed, just not by me.

Not having a smart phone is no excuse for incompentance. Everyone else in the room has a smart phone.
