Joe Herd runs it. I haven't gone in a while, but am going to try and make it in a few weeks.

Ah, okay. So you play? I think there used to be some mediocre player named Robin that used to play in GJ. He couldn't have been very good though because I used to beat him part of the time. Last I heard he had quit playing. ;-p
I think I may give Cruisers a try next week. You going to play Nationals? I might be able to give you a little practice for that from time to time. ...if I can still play. Haha. I actually played the tournament at Cruisers a couple of times, but it's been a few years.

This Robin character you speak of gave up on foos after he lost to me in a warm up game at the HOF a few years ago. This was a while after he won a semi-pro title at the HOF tourney so that goes to show you what THAT paper title was worth! :p

But you heard wrong? I just don't play at Cruisers because playing the players there just hurt my game.
But I'm always open to play for ca$h, bring it don't sing it.
As for Slice/- yawn city yawn.

Ronnie, Eric, and Donnie were at the first tournament I played at Cruisers a few years ago but just Eric after that one. I think I may have played two more tournaments before I lost interest. Decent turnouts but the level of play was not quite what I had hoped for.
Playing me may have been hurting your game. LOL You had more success after I quit playing. Congrats on the HOF Semi-pro title.

Hey Dave, I had no idea that was you, glad you came out. I quit coming out at Cruisers about 2-3 years ago. The table/s are just not up to par. The balls/lighting/and just overall play of the tables just doesn't work for me.
I kind of hit a burnout stage as far as hitting so many big tourneys. I still keep my game fresh and am probably playing stronger now than I was when I won Vegas.
Are you thinking about Nationals? I would be down to jamming some games w/ you. Let me know.

I haven't given going to Nationals much thought. A couple of days ago I saw that it was going to be in Colorado Springs this year. I'm not really considering going to Nationals, but I guess maybe that's what's tempting me to hit Cruisers again. I haven't touched a table since the last time I played there. Haven't talked to Chuck in a about a year. I think he's till around but doesn't play anymore. I just play at home and do drills by myself. I'm still up in the air as far as Nationals goes as well. I last played at CO. St. 2013. Edited by user Friday, April 1, 2016 12:39:22 AM(UTC)

I'm going to play the tournament at Cruisers tonight. It'll be interesting to see if the people who play there have improved or if there's anyone new playing. Stop in and play if you want to, Robin. Should be easy money for you if nothing else. Haha

From what people were saying last week, it sounded like turnout may be light this week at Cruisers. I'll probably show up a little before 8:00, probably not much more than 15 minutes early though.
