First Place ($40) Bruce Landers and Luke Sieverton.

Second Place ($25) Bruce Landers and Ryan Ladwig.

Third Place ($10) Dan Sivertson and Cliff Ladwig.

Good job, those of you who took cash.

They had an odd number of players, 5, so Bruce paid and entered twice and drew Luke and Ryan. This way there were 3 complete teams. Bruce and partners beat Dan and Cliff, once each team, and then Luke and Ryan played singles against each other while Bruce sat and collected 1st and 2nd place cash. Make sense?

Whoa, weird. Yeah, makes sense... I've just never seen a tournament played that way.

Bruce got both First and Second Place.

There were nine (9) players in the tournament, an odd number for a Draw Your Partner tournament format, so to resolve that conflict Bruce was chosen by random draw to see if he would like to pay a second entry fee and play twice. Bruce accepted the challenge of playing twice.

This made five complete teams out of nine players, because Bruce played twice.

Bruce and Luke beat Dominick and Mike W./Cliff and Dan/Bruce and Ryan (Ryan lost to Luke in singles to determine the winner of this match)/ and Bruce and Ryan again in the Finals to take the championship.

Bruce and Ryan beat Chance and Mike G./ Cliff and Dan on their way to Second Place.

I love to pay out to as many places as possible because it creates as many winners as possible, but even I cannot pay out ten bucks to third if we only have three teams.

I will be posting up another guaranteed Rookie DYP soon (Monday, March 7th), watch for details.
