17 teams
1 - Bart/Steve 2 - Roger/BJ 3 - Nick/Aaron 4 - Ditto/Brad Steneele
thanks for coming out every. I definitely think we should do this format once a month or every couple months, as it really up's people's singles game. While the singles players didn't cash, they had multiple chances to beat the doubles teams.
Good job everyone.

Wow three times Bart and Steve have won and I haven't been there all three times. The last time I was there with Davin they didn't finish in the cash. WTF!
Look at Nick schooling you nerds! Great job! What the heck happened to our expert and above level players?
Why don't I see Jedi's name in the cash?
Look at Ditto bringing in a name fom the somewhat recent past! Nice! Let's get more of them back out!

Haha Jim you're the one who put us out of the tourney a couple weeks ago. You were playing some boss goalie. You blocked everything and I think you outscored Davin. Before that, X had put us in the losers bracket.
X is playing really solid. He very nearly beat Roger and BJ last night, in the singles vs. doubles thing. It was 4-4 in the 3rd game, and X shot a 2-bar push that pegged off the far corner of the goal. Just barely missed. It was a long match, with X bricking Roger more times than I could count. Almost the whole game was played between Roger's 3 bar and X's 2-bar. It was an impressive sight to be sure.
We put Jedi in the losers bracket. We were up one game, he was ahead 4-1 in the 2nd game, but suddenly the momentum shifted and we got 4 consecutive points to pull out a win. In the loser's bracket, Jedi lost to Brubaker, who was also playing singles. That was one of the most impressive matches of the night, both of them playing a fast, high-energy power game. It went to 3rd game, match ball, before Brubaker nailed the win.

Awesome work Steve! You've been playing kickass foos yourself. X has been nasty! Thanks for the detailed results!
We've got to do something about Nick though. Anybody have Jackie Han's digits? She may be the only one who can save Colorado foos.
I'm bummed that I couldn't be there again. I may not make it there the rest of the month. WTF!

Thanks Steve - good playing to you guys as well.
Nick's game really came around once he put in the time to complete his pullside roller as well as taking his time. He's also added depth to his 5 instead of the simple brush he used to do. More success is giving him more confidence and it's showing.
All up and coming players should take note of him and Joey. Not the fastest power type of players, but just taking your time, working holes, playing smart, keeping it simple...the basic fundamentals of the game...that's winning foosball.

Plus the old guys are, well, getting old.
Speaking old old has beens, X, did you get me reply on your test pm or the text that I sent to your phone? I know the board had issues last weekend and I didn't get an e-mail about your test pm. It also doesn't show on the board that I have a pm once I'm fully on the forum section. I just happened to noticed it marked for about a second before I was on the forum section.

Wow... Look at Trouts thread getting all the attention...lol
By the way Colorado players, I have been noticing a lot of you players out there are exceeding the time limit on the rods over 5 seconds... better start getting that shit straight, start practicing getting that internal clock in your heads back on time.. IM not going to point who they are, its up to you personally to figure that out..

Hey X, I'm curious, were there 34 players Friday night or did players that opted to play Singles instead of Doubles count as a team?
