I still don't get how the points work?

Is it just the winner of the race for singles and doubles?

Or everyone who qualifies with the race, gets into to one tourney for all the marbles?

It is a great way to get players out. Its also a great motivation to practice show up and try to win one of 4 or 5 money slots.


Count me in. I've been saving my winnings since state to put towards the next tour stop I can afford. I'm already up a few hundred bucks! Additionally, this would be a nice year end bonus to win a paid trip to worlds.

Call me selfish slice cuz I'm in it to win it! Singles and doubles.

For the love of God.

Is anybody listening here.

How is this points race going to work, when there is only 1 singles event a week.. That is the key to this whole issue.
There has to be one more singles event somewhere, to remotely make this points race work.

Well I guess not everybody is a visional clairvoyant!

Without another singles event a week making it two a week.
Then might as well drop the singles idea. And focus the points race in just the doubles format. And then have the best 2 players earn the tour tickets..

But then at that point.. Im going to be selfish, because its just fitting to be so.
There would be no reason for me to even get out and start the points battle. Bottom line, no need to invest in time and money if I dont have a stable CHANCE. I have the game to win a ticket, Colorado dont have the format to make it happen ...YET!

Way I read Tommy's first post there is 30-34 tournaments at Americas to get points in both singles/DYP. Singles Champ has a shot at 60% of 800=$480

More you attend the better your chances are at the total pts win.

$1100/$800=DYP/Singles

So whoever has the most points at the end of the race...

Then it's pretty much only limited to 7 or so foosers then: Ross, Boogie, Roger, Daniel, Brubaker, Jedi, Joe T....no?

That doesn't seem like there's much incentive for anyone other than the top players to attend.

And last, the only option left is to have Americas the only arena for the points race. If Tommy is looking to generate a higher player base. Then if any one player wants to get the notion to compete. Then their only choice is to travel to Americas once a week.
If this was Tommys planed idea. Then the other two locations didnt need to be mentioned in the first place, doing that put the wrench in the wheel.
