This thread will concern every player on the planet Earth, and where they stand in the caliber of the food chain in the rankings of this game of table soccer.

First off, what are the factors that make a difference between a Minor event V/S a Major event?

This question above must he answered before I begin laying out my lessons on this issue.

Please.! anyone that believes or thinks they know the answer, go ahead and state your mind... But I give warning, answers will have to be very wise in the reply.
Well because, for any answer given, I'll most likely debunk it.
Example, some say that the title that Tony D and I won in Senior Doubles at the 2008 Colorado State Championships," WAS NOT A MAJOR TITLE WIN"!

Ok AK, explain why you believe that was not a major title?

Even though a Jacket was given for the event, plus also there were Pros, and Pro- Masters from all over that entered that event..
But correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Colorado State was a Major event??
I mean, if it's a Minor event, then why does everyone want me to win a State title???

Ummm, I can go to my next stage of the meaning of this thread, but I'll let some of you chew on crow for abit, while some of you are gaging while pulling the dish of crow feet and feathers from your mouths, trying to justify the statement above, go ahead, give it your best shot!

Jedi keep crushing the local scene bro. These are great Foos achievements. I mean that sincerely.

I think the classification is Local - Regional - Major

I’ve heard CO State called out as a ‘major caliber’ event by Jim Stevens.

After seeing these threads I haven’t determined if you are gloating, challenging, teaching, drinking :) It seems to be gamesmanship by a consistent winner.

But when these ‘students’ wherever they might surface start beating their teacher the question is what will you be saying then? It will be interesting to find out.

Actually that is hilarious, that's why I can't stand voice command, I always have to go back and edit.

Well I corrected the Minor word!

I think the major point is what’s mine is mine. Perfect major for School of Mines.

Thx for the clarification ♌

As for my past students, two of the three actually competed in this last points race, one did win some matches off me, and was my main competition throughout 4 months, but lost the race in the long run. The other student battled with the Jedi a few times during the 16 weeks, but only won one match, but lost the second match in a finals...

But I will admit to say, all three of them are nasty competition, After all, they finish in the top 1st through 3rd position more times than not. In fact one took a Vegas title recently with a random player. The other student has won 3 title jackets in 2 years... Quite an accomplishment in my book if you ask me!

Now as far as me losing against any player that I have tutored or taught, it has no bearing on my ego. So whatever it takes for any students of mine to take the Jedi down is all good to me, because if they do, then they deserve the win. That's the point of teaching, it's to get players to another level, and my game has this magic tendency on doing that very thing, they just have to accept the fact that my teachings actually broke them out of the egg shell, and took them where they are today in their game.

Ok, NOW THAT IT HAS BEEN CONCLUDED THAT COLORADO STATE IS A MAJOR EVENT.

Now it can be set in stone that I have actually won a state title, like I have always known all along!
This means that the Jedi's kitchen is open for my famous dish of black bird.

Say B.B. I just ordered you that very dish, it's time for you to " EAT CROW", bro!
Remember you said if I win a state title, you would do what????????? see if you have honor in your own words?

And Don't make me quote your past posts, because you'll look damn silly with more crow feet hanging from your lips, after I dish out your second helping of black bird..

That inspires the Jedi to say... Has anyone ever eaten real crow or Raven before? Legend has it, they are the most foul tasting bird on the planet, and they eat better than any bird that eats from the ground.

Now for the second order of business in the meaning of this thread!

In the year of 2010 after the loss of my father in July, and considering the stress and grief I was going through.
I still managed to train abit in the months after July.

Then I had a vision that I posted on the forum at the time,
about a Phoenix and a bomb fire, with players standing hand in hand around the bomb fire.
Then the fire went out, and out of the ashes came a Phoenix in bright colors began rising from the ashes, as it twisted clockwise a few times. Then it stopped while facing me, and out of it's mouth came a " fireball 'that hit me full force in the chest as it lit me up in a very bright light... then I woke up from the visionary dream. But I remembered there was a voice that came from the Phoenix, and it said" You are above them all!

Later on the rumors were going around, that the first time ever, we Colorado players may not have a Colorado State championship for the year of 2010.

Then the miracle happened.. Robbie and Cheese, put forth their financing together and lo and behold, Colorado was having a Colorado State championship on the " Fireball table".

And as historical as it was that Robbie and Cheese saved our tradition of still having a COLORADO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP without fail for over 30+ years. Plus I the Jedi took the Expert Singles event on a style table I have never touched, not even once in my foosball career.

So in actuality, that would also be another Colorado State title, making that 2 titles in 2 years!
and I haven't even touched down with the two back to back Civil War events yet, but that's yet to come in the next few posts..

Oops, time to dish out another plate of black Crow...

That's what I've been preaching for quite some time now, that includes the "Singles division" too.
Like one has to have a high caliber game to finish high in that event, like a Master caliber.
Damn, I finally hit 2nd in that event last year, lost 1st by meat nut..
Now I have a 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, three years straight. My inner goal is to take that title this year if all possible at the age of 60!

That Fireball Tourney had State and World winners in the Singles Event the Jedi took!

The name of a tourney doesn’t change the caliber of the players you face across the table. A Worlds Champ is still a World Champ and a State Champ is still a State Champ.

What other expert(in the most fucked up ranking system ever) has notched more wins than the Jedi against Pro Masters in Singles? The Jedi has tournament wins over Champ, Ryan Moore and Garret.

No Thunder!
It was a substitute Colorado State Championship, but with the format of fireball tables..
Because that was all Robbie and Cheese could afford at the time. It wasn't like they could pay for the crown hotel, or the " Gray Stone Castle" on 120th..
So The Table-Stakes it was held at was the next best thing at hand..
And personally, I just can't picture Robbie or Cheese hosting anything less.

The only thing regional about it, was the players came from all over the region. Just like players do at any other
Colorado State Championship we have ever had..
And just think, we now have players from other countries that attend our State Championship. I don't think there is any other state in the US that attracts that kind of player base..

Bottom line in the nutshell, the Fireball event was truly a Colorado State championship..."WRAPS OFF HANDS DOWN".

Dan Barber can you or Champ please clarify to Jedi that the fireball was a regional promotional tournament for fireball! There hasn't been a fireball tournament since. Why because tornado is the standard! Jedi for real much respect I have always said your game was that of a master.

You did win a senior doubles co State but to really leave your legacy you should try to win a State Championship or go out on tour and win a event. (Much respect for Boogie and big dog Roger A. They went out after Mary dropped them in points and closed the fucken deal! Some huge amazing wins guys Congratulations that's how you do it.). 1 in a million Boogie and Roger I am so trying to grasp my brain around how hard those titles were to win incredible!!!

there will and has always been a points race tourney at the local scene.

2015 Expert Doubles Colorado State Champ!

I will take that bet. Jedi will not win expert singles at state. My prediction is that he will complain about the balls are too fuzzy and don't roll right and they suck. Matter of fact if he wins I owe you twenty and when he doesn't we just laugh about how you could make such a bet. Deal?

Minors are chords that tend to make a person sad. :(

Majors are chords that tend to make a person happy. :)

I liked winning my Major Ex. Singles Title in Vegas @ the (HOF Classic) A brand new Icebox made me happy! :)
