NYC FOOSCLUB LEAGUE IS HAPPENING!

Start date will happen when we determine we have enough teams, but I don't think that's going to be an issue. So start recruiting!!! Please let me know once you've solidified your teammates and team names.

Sundays starting approx 5 or 6pm should finish in two hours or less.

Three person teams (all will be handicapped. All matches are single games race to 8 and win by two.

Each person plays two double matches (one with each teammate), for three matches total

Each person will play one singles match against the opponent's same level player (C player plays C player)

Each person plays one of the following Bonus matchs: goalie wars, front shootout, and singles rollerball. Captain decides which player plays what. Hopefully a strategy will evolve here.

If we have 6 teams each team plays every team twice for a total of 10 matches. Two teams play at PIPs, two teams at Fat Cat, two teams have the week off.

Haven't decided if there going to be a tournament at the end or not.

Some info on the league we're starting along with some really exciting news.

First, I apologize on how long it's taking us to get the league going. The partnership with Arizona league promoter fell through unexpectedly and set us back a bit.

BUT!!!!

I have always felt things happen for a reason. We're now working out the details, but we will be participating in not just a NYC foosball league, but a North East Region foosball league.!!!!! How awesome is that? NYC + The 518 + Buffalo + possibly NH, Philly, Maryland, NJ, CT and Canada. Same rules, same format, same handicapping system for the region. Area winners could play other areas or better yet a NE Regional Tournament with all the areas participating.

So again thanks for you patience, but I truly believe this could be the start of something special.
