Tons of food, drink specials, good tunes, and a great tournament with pre/post pick up games. Raffle prizes and gift certificates.
I always supply the main food dishes. I only ask that all the locals help me out by bringing a side dish, snacks or a $$ donation towards cost.

In past years, we've had players from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Massachusetts and Texas. Great evening with great friends! All are welcomed!

Please do not get discouraged if you do not have a partner prior to the party. We will partner you up at the event. Everyone gets to play!

Handicap Points Breakdown - Team Points is based on the highest ranked player

550-700 Beginner - 4 Points
701-1000 Rookie - 5 Points
1001-1500 Amateur - 6 Points
1501-2500 Expert - 7 Points
2501-4500 Pro - 8 Points
4501-up Elite/Master -9 Points

We will be using the new IFP points. If you are not rated in the IFP system you will use your local points and/or tournament director's discretion.

Fun night. Chris F and I played ok, not up to our potential, but still fun.

I think they had 23 teams.

Props to the Fishs. I've been going to this tournament for at least 4 years and they have always been close. Awesome win, finally.

Good playing Pat from Germany. Next time you post I hope someone from NYC picks you up as a partner.

Surprisingly Wil made it, and he and Chris Brand almost beat one of the best in the World, Todd Lofreddo and John Lee in handicap doubles. I learned a lot from that match, which helped me beat them in our match.

We lost to Adil/Shayar in 3 games. Adil got me on the 5. Then we lost to Pat/Michelle, don't remember much, I think it was close.

Big turnout from NYC and MD which made it awesome. And it's pretty amazing to have one of the best in the World at your local tournament.

Thanks to Chris and Jen for hosting. Anybody have pictures of the cake?
