Thank you to the higher-ranked players who showed up to support the Rookie Draw by purchasing food and drinks from the bar, providing tips and advice to the beginners and rookies, and playing a few practice and cash games. It is very helpful for the rookies to hear what really works on tour and what does not work, so that they do not waste their precious practice time on stuff that will never really work.

Thank you to all of the beginner and rookie players who showed up ready to compete. We had fourteen players battle in many entertaining matches, including at least one meatball.

Players, save the date of Monday, May 23, 2016. That is the Monday before Memorial Day and we will try to throw our next BIG Rookie Draw on that day. Either we will play for big entries (Colorado Springs or State?) or big cash, let me know which you prefer. So far the players are voting to take the cabbage.
