Practice does not make perfection, only perfect practice makes perfection...

I heard this quote years ago and it’s stuck with me ... “practice makes permanent”
Never let a win go to your head, or a loss to your heart

I have been working out of town all year and not around a table. Trout came over last night and I tore him a new asshole. He has been practicing alot lately. I'm not saying trout is a top tier player but a month out of practice and I executed very well. Can't wait to move all the rigs back to Colorado so I can be home and get some practice in. Or maybe I shouldn't? Lol

Vegas is looking like a possibility. I have the time off approved and the money to go. Given that I played well last night should I take off or start back practicing? I will probably suck it up anyway. Lol

Name 1 sport or game where 100% perfection has been achieved!? Things like jerking off and such don’t count. :))

Realistically, 100 perfection is a brief achievement, it doesn't last long.. we as players constantly chase the highest perfection possible that we can.

A game that went 5-0 was a game of perfection for the winner. If the opponent makes one point then it's not a perfect game..

And yet a player can lose one game every set, but yet win every set on the winners side undefeated... The player wasn't perfect in every game, but the player was perfect in winning all the matches for the win.

So what is the guidelines for perfection?

300 in bowling is all I can think of for a game, even if there is the occasional Brooklyn.

To me the guide lines for perfection is 100% in all aspects of a game/sport. Like a 5-0 game in Foosball can be achieved without 100% passing or shooting. Games like the mentioned bowling 300 can be achieved more often. Also darts, horseshoes and others where there is no physical opponent. Golf is an exception, I’d say it is impossible to shoot 18 holes in one or even the rare eagle.

Tim Wilson and I 15-0'd a team in Open Doubles at CO. State.

It was hilarious! Tim said I was mean to not even let those Beginners get 1 goal. Oh hell no!

Haha

Lol! Miss you brother. We don’t get to the Western Slope much at all any more since Lynn’s dad passed and her family pretty much moved away from there. Hope you and Steph are doing well. Lemme know when you make over to our side.
