I would like to run another weekly dyp with the possibility of singles on another night, but I need a location.
If someone can help in finding a location somewhere between Longmont and the north edge of Denver, and it ends in being a weekly Sun, Mon, or Tuesday tourney, I will pay for your first 3 months entry.
If I don't start one soon, my tables are sold.

I'd love to see a early week tourney start up in that area.

I'd love to see a beginner tourney. You'd get some new players from the 404. I've also heard of other "404" like tourneys going on around Denver. Lots of newbies, we just need a way to bring them together and get them playing. X Edited by user Tuesday, March 24, 2015 9:36:02 PM(UTC)

What if you had a beginner tourney, but let miller enter, under the stipulation that he had to kick in $200 every week? Hey miller- read that, then close your eyes and imagine walking into a room full of beginners every week, raring to go, pointing at you and whispering about your wizard like skills, and rumors of you playing blindfolded! The table you warm up on instantly has stacks of quarters on it, from noobs who smile and say "wow man" after every recoil! MAN, YOU WOULD BE IN FOOSBAL HEAVEN! Until week 2, when you guys get booted. *POOF* report to bc's on Friday and get your ass whipped quick. Edited by user Wednesday, March 25, 2015 3:41:19 PM(UTC)

Sheri, I posted a place with potential to the cofoos fb page a few weeks back. I can't remember the name right off but they had a "banquet" room and the menu looked good. I think it was near alameda and union. I'll do some digging and get some info..

Yeah I would like to see it at Twin Peaks.
The only time I didn't have fun there is we got a waitress that had stoner 'I ate cat shit" breath. And I almost barfed.
If I ever try and give you candy. Just fucking eat it right away... Cause you smell bad

X I might be better at coaching than playing, so I'll just toot my own horn here. The Dish Dojo (Dish Network, my place of employment) has been attracting some new players lately to the old Twister table. The 3 notable names to come out of there are Nic Padilla (now in Utah), David Esparza, who just doubled in the beginner events at State, and now Josh Dungan (Skum), who has quickly developed a crispy stick passing series to go along with his smooth roller. Another guy, David Deese, has potential, but he's so damn annoying that I kind of ignore him. There are a bunch of noobs, and we'll see if any of them are interested in developing their games. It would be nice to tell them of a place they can go to in order to play against other noobs. Why not BC's on another night? Congrats to Skum for finishing 5th last night, playing front for Dustin.
